prologue pt2

   "Y/N!". He said and smiled. "You know each other?". Jong-dae asked and both him and Wendy were curious to know more. "It's a long story". We said simultaneously and we all laughed. "Wendy we gotta go get ready. Come! See you later guys. Go find nice seats". Jong-dae and Wendy headed backstage, leaving me and Jaehyun once again, alone. "So, how's everything?". He said and made me blush. Why was I blushing? "Everything's fine I guess, you?". I asked and he just lifted his shoulders. "Let's go find some seats". I nodded and we entered the hall.

   It was indeed an angelic voice, the one belonging to Kim Jong-dae but it wasn't his, the one I had heard that night. It was neither Kim Jong-woon's. Wendy was perfect at her performance, and I also fell in love with her and Jong-dae's duet. "They are made for each other, aren't they?". Jaehyun told me, as he was listening to their song. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He was an angel. When he felt, that I was staring at him, his eyes met mine and he smiled at me, holding my hand.

   We went backstage to congratulate everyone. Wendy and Jong-dae were hugging and we couldn't help but let a cute aw escape our mouth. We both giggled. "Any plans for tonight?". Jaehyun said. Wendy looked at me, begging not to suggest anything. "Um, why don't we go for dinner and then, just meet for a drink?". I proposed and I made Jaehyun understand the situation. When he realized what I was trying to say- "Oh, I get the message! We'll leave you two lovebirds! Let's go Y/N". I rolled my eyes at him and goodbyed the two lovebirds. "Couldn't you be any more indiscreet?". I told him and we both giggled. "Why should I hide that they both have a crush on each other?". He asked and he looked me into my eyes, indicating something I didn't have to put much effort to realise. "Let's go on a date!". He proposed. "You and I?". I asked surprisingly. "Who else, silly! Come on!". He took me by the hand and we headed to somewhere I didn't know.

   Finally, we arrived at a park. "Cotton Candy!!!". I pointed out and I ran to the kiosk. "Wait!". Jaehyun said and ran after me. "Two please!". I asked and gave the money to the old lady when Jaehyun's hand stopped me. "Nope, it's my treat. After all, we're on a date!". He said and smiled, making the old lady smile too. "It's my treat, you lovebirds". The old lady said and made us both blush. We looked at each other, trying to hide what was so obvious. I couldn't look him into his eyes. My heart would melt instantly. We took our candies and started a long walk through the park. We weren't talking, just enjoying the moment, I guess.

   "Oh no". I said. "What?". He asked me softly. "I want more cotton candy". "You can have mine". He said. "No, it's yours!". "We can share it". He said and looked into my eyes. "Are we really on a date?". I asked him. "Aren't we?". He questioned. "So, what does that mean?". He looked at me quite curious about what I was trying to say. "It means we're on date". He said and laughed while enjoying his last bite of candy. I rolled my eyes and wrapped my arm around his. "So, what's next?". I looked at him shyly. He giggled and threw away the stick. "I don't know, us kissing, I guess". He said and my eyes widened. I couldn't help but blush. "Hey, look at this cute tomato!". He said and started laughing. "No, no! I am not a tomato, yaaah!". I said and playfully punched him. He couldn't stop laughing, which made me look even more stupid. He suddenly stopped. He started staring at me so deeply, which made me feel so awkward. "How would you feel if I kissed you?". He suddenly became more serious, but so gentle at the same time. "Um, I don't know...I guess, fine?". What the hell are you saying, Y/N! "Ice cream!!!! Let's have some ice cream!!!". I tried to take away my awkwardness and quickly headed to the ice cream van. Soft music was playing, which made it even more awkward for me. "One scoop of vanilla". Jaehyun said and smiled at me. One? Just one? "Don't you want some?". I asked him. "Yes, let's share this". He said and smirked. My face surely had turned red.

   We started walking again. "Come, have some". He insisted on. "No, you can have your share first. Leave the rest to me". I giggled and he stared at me awkwardly. " You're beautiful". I heard his words and my heart started beating uncontrollably. "No, I mean it. The way you smile, it's just so naturally beautiful". He said while licking some ice cream. "I don't know what to say...". I looked at him shyly. I leaned in closer to have some ice cream, though he was taller than me and I had to lean on him to reach it. My lips though didn't exactly lean on the ice cream. His lips were cotton candy flavoured and I could taste the vanilla ice cream. He wrapped me around his arms and deepened the kiss. I couldn't help but smile, as I was buried in his hug. I let go of his lips and took the ice cream from his hands. I started running playfully and laughed while he was trying to reach me. Lost game though. He wrapped his arms around my waist and started tickling me. "No, no! The ice cream!". I couldn't stop laughing though. I licked some of it and I playfully looked into his eyes. I guess, I kind of turned him on at that moment. He leaned in closer and had a bite of it, looking into my eyes. He stuck his body on to me and kissed me again. More passionately this time.

   The night went on and on. It was the most beautiful night. Unfortunately, Jaehyun disappeared after that night.
