Hobbs looked round to Tina with a worried look.
"Oh Jeezy Petes Tina. things are getting real weird again" a sense of dread and confusion obvious in his voice.
It truly was an unusual sight.
A man, dressed in an expensive looking pinstripe suit was pinned to a tree.
by a bull.
But it wasn't a bull.
It was more like a large man with a bull's head.
The suited man gripped a gold sword tightly with both of his hands. The base of it had an elaborate looking gold skull with wings attached to the side of it.
Most of the sword was thrust deeply into the chest of the half man half Cow beast.
Neither of the individuals were living and looked to have been dead for many hours. The blood was dried and in a pool at the base of the tree.
"Hey Hobbs? Do you reckon..?" she paused. Unable to look away from the grotesque yet baffling sight.
"Do you reckon we should call them?" See ripped her gaze away from it and looked in Hobbs' direction
"I think that would be a good idea" Hobbs replied, already opening up his phone.
He put it up to his ear and it rang a few times before the person on the other end picked up.
"Hey Dirk it's me Hobbs. sorry to bother ya but i think there's possibly a bit of a holistic going on here" he paused, looking at the dead man and dead whatever the other thing was.
"Yeah actually, definitely a bit of a holistic"
"Do you think you'd be able to come down and help if you're not busy" he asked?
The reply he received was prompt and concise.
"Okay great I'll see ya soon" he ended the call and pocketed his phone once more.
"What'd they say?" Tina rushed over to Hobbs excitedly
Hobbs smiled at Tina's enthusiasm "said that they'd be down right away"
Tina grinned pumping the air with her fist excitedly
"Don't get too ahead of yourself we have actual police work to take care of now" Hobbs said in an attempt to calm Tina down "We need to sort this whole mess out" he pointed at the two dead bodies.
Tina nodded, gulping.
She feared what may lie ahead, knowing that this was no doubt just the start of the weirdness.
