Chapter 13

Zayn’s P.O.V.

      I wake up to my phone vibrating on the couch. I lift my heavy body up off the couch to grab it.

“Hello?” I grouchily say into the phone.

“Zayn, it’s Simon!” My eyes automatically open wide.

“Hey Simon, what’s up?” I calmly ask.

“Don’t forget about the employee promotion party tonight. You and the boys will be performing ‘I Should Have Kissed You.’ I’ll be calling the other boys too, make sure you’re here at 6:30 PM for a quick sound check because the party starts at 7:30 PM.”

“Okay, it’s at your place right?”

“Yup, see you and the boys then.” He reassures me.

“Bye!”

“Wait Zayn!” I hear Simon’s voice yell through the phone.

“Yeah?” I ask curiously.

“You can bring a friend if you want. I’m allowing all my employees to bring someone if they want to, so you can.”

“Alright, sounds good. Thanks again Simon.”

“Not a problem, see you then.” Simon ends the call as I place my phone on the couch and stretch out.

I feel much better today, it must have been a small bug that has now subsided. I get myself come breakfast and I hear my phone vibrate again. I go to see who it is; I smile as Sam’s name pops up on my screen.

“Hey babe!” I say as I pick up the phone.

“Hey! Did Simon call you?” She asks me.

“Yeah he did, why?”

“Well who are you bringing as a friend?”

“Well I was going to bring you but you’re already going, so probably no one.”

“Okay, well I’m bringing Jayme. I assume Harry will take Katie, Niall will take Gab, and Louis will take Courtney?”

“Yeah probably, sounds likely.” I say.

“Alright sounds good!”

“I miss you.” I smile.

“Zayn, I saw you two days ago and I won’t disappoint tonight babe.” She giggles into the phone.

“You better not!” I tease.

“Alright well I gotta go wake the girls, it’s already noon.” I check the clock to see that she’s right; the boys and I are going to want to talk about tonight.

“Alright, I’ll see you later, bye Sam!”

“Bye babe!” She hangs up. I end the class to see that I have an unread message from Harry:

Boys, meet and mine and Lou’s at 1:30 to talk about tonight! 

I close my phone as I change into a simple shirt and sweats and walk over to Harry and Lou’s apartment. Although I was an hour early, what was I going to do at home anyway?

I walk in to see Harry and Louis talking in the kitchen, clearly about something important because they stop talking once I get in.

Louis’ P.O.V.

      “What do you mean Harry?” I ask.

Harry just told me that he needs advice about tonight. Apparently, it’s really important.

“I need to make a decision tonight, about those two girls I have feelings toward.”

“Harry,” I tell him, “I can’t help you unless you tell me who the other girl is. I know one is obviously Katie.”
