Never Gonna Be The Same

Chapter 8

~July 30th~

Maeve waddled into the gym, looking for her best friend and her baby daddy. She spotted Seth Rollins, who walked over to her.

"Excuse me miss, this gym is for WWE Superstars only right now. You can come back later."

"I would love to except these two babies are very heavy and I'm visiting Finn and Roman."

"Oh. They are right over there, training together." Maeve smiled and waddled over to the boys. She cleared her throat and the two looked up at her.

"Hello Maeve."

"Hi Evie." Finn kissed Maeve's head while Roman gave her a hug.

"My dad is coming tonight."

"Really? What does he want?" Roman questioned, getting defensive over Maeve even though there was no need to.

"He's introducing me to his fiancee and his friends' son."

"How do you think he's going to act when he finds out about this one."

"You mean these two?" Finn laughed as he rubbed Maeve's swollen belly. "And me."

"He's going to be fine. I told him that I had a surprise for him when he arrived. Can we seat somewhere? My feet hurt and I'm hungry."

"How about we go out for lunch? You and me." Maeve smiled at Finn.

"Bye Roman! See you later tonight." Maeve and Finn walked out to Finn's rental.

"Hey Finn, who is this?" Ruby walked up to the two,

"Hey Ruby, this is Maeve, my girl."

"Does Liv know about this? You know she has a thing for you."

"You don't need to know my whole story, and nobody needs to know either. If we want to go public, we will. Until then, butt out!" Finn helped Maeve into the car and drove her to a nearby restaurant. 

Once they arrived, Finn helped Maeve get out of the car and escorted her into the building.

"Tonight after my match, I want to drive home with you. Just so you can get some rest."

"Ok. Sounds like a plan. When do you want to announce the babies?"

"Next week after we tell our parents. By the way, my parents are coming in tonight so I figured that I spend some time with you and them."

"So you want to hang out with my dad, me and your parents?"

"Yeah. We can figure something out to do."

"Does your dad like to golf?"

"Yeah."

"So does my dad. We can send them off together to bond."

"Sounds good. Hey Maeve, I have a question for you."

"What is it?"

"I know that we've only been seeing each other for a few weeks but I realized that I really like you. Will you please be my girlfriend?"

"Yes!" Finn leaned over the table and kissed his girlfriend.

Later that night, Maeve's father arrived in Tampa as Maeve was sitting ring side, watching her handsome boyfriend wrestle. Even though he lost, she was still excited for him. She felt her baby boy kick and she smiled. After the match, one of the security guards escorted her to Finn's locker room. 

"Hey baby girl." Finn wiped the sweat off his face as Maeve got closer and closer.

"Hey Finn who's this?" Finn and Maeve looked at the door to see Bayley standing there smiling with Sasha next to her.
