Chapter 12

"So are you ready for Sunday?"

"Yes. But I don't want to go. I want to stay here with you and the twins."

"But you agreed to it and my aunt is coming to watch the twins so I can watch you in your match." Maeve pecked Finn's cheek and rubbed his back. 

"I just want you to myself." Laying on the bed, Maeve wrapped her legs around Finn and pulled herself into him. "Peaceful vacation."

"You mean our honey moon?"

"Yeah. You know, when we get married." An ear piercing cry came through the baby monitor, "I'll get it."

"Ok." As Finn was getting up to get Eli, the crying stopped. This concerned the parents until they heard a soft voice through the speaker.

"Hey little man, it's ok. Big bro is here."

"When did Bryan get home?" Finn questioned,

"I guess he just got in. Did you hear the door?"

"Nope." The couple got up and walked into the twins' room.

"Hey baby. When did you get in?"

"A few minutes ago. I was coming up to my room when I heard Eli crying. So I got him."

~Christmas~

Maeve sat at the kitchen table, feeding Eli while Finn fed Mia. Bryan was making breakfast for the three adults.

"Is grandma and grandpa coming over?"

"Yes. So is uncle Joe and Galina and Finn's parents."

"So full house?"

"Hence why presents haven't been opened yet." Finn leaned over and kissed Maeve. There was a knock at the door, Maeve looked at Finn before going to open the door.

"Rose?"

"Hi Maeve, is Bryan home?"

"Yes. Come in." Rose walked in, "I wasn't expecting you. Why didn't you say anything?"

"I was in town and I saw Joe at the store. I asked about you and Bryan. I'm visiting Joann, she doesn't know that I stopped to see my grandson."

"Thank you for coming." Maeve hugged Rose and brought her to the kitchen. "Bryan, nanny Rose is here." Bryan turned around and went to hug his nanny. Maeve went over to Finn and kissed him.

"Who's this?"

"Rose, Bryan's paternal grandmother."

"Maeve, are you going to introduce me?"

"Yes. Rose, this is my boyfriend, Finn. Finn, this is Rose."

"Nice to meet you."

"Is he treating you guys right?"

"Yeah. He helped me get into school."

"Good. And who are these little ones?"

"Eli and Mia. Finn and I's twins."

"How old?"

"Four months. How's Joann doing?"

"She's good. Holly and Zack are getting ready to go away next year."

"Aw. The last time I saw them they were Eli and Mia's age."

"I know. Why don't we get together in the next few days and you can catch up."

"I'll see. My dad and Finn's parents are in town for the holidays. Bryan what's your schedule like this week?"

"Clear. I just plan on being here with the kids and you, mom."

"Well if I can't make it, Bryan can visit his cousins and aunt."

"Alright." Rose sat next to Maeve and smiled at the babies.

"I miss having babies in the house." Rose played with the babies, "Bryan when you were their age, I would lay you on a blanket and let you roll around then when your mom came home, You two would nap together. I still have pictures of you two."

"You'll have to send them to me." Rose's phone rang, showing her that her daughter was looking for her.

"I guess I have to go. I'll talk to you soon."  

Maeve escorted Rose to the door and waved her off while three cars pulled up. In one car, Roman and his family stepped out, the second car was Leonie and Fintan and the third car was Lloyd and Rowan with Alisha, Brooklyn and Caitlyn. 

"Hey! Welcome to our little winter wonderland." Maeve gave everyone hugs as they entered the house, closing the door as her dad walked in. Maeve's phone rang to which she answered it.

"Hi Maeve. It's Liv, I wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and apologize for my behavior earlier in the year. I shouldn't have acted that way. I guess I was jealous of what you and Finn have."

"Thank you Liv. Merry Christmas to you too." 

"Enjoy your day with your family." Liv hung up and Maeve put her phone down in the living room before going to get Eli and Mia. As Finn and Maeve carried the twins into the living room, everyone sat down and started to hand out presents to each other.

Rowan and Leonie recorded the twins open their presents with the help of Finn and Maeve. Bryan sat next to Alisha and Brooklyn to open presents.

"You didn't have to get this for me Bryan." Alisha exclaimed, staring at her new necklace.

"I wanted to. I saw you posted it on Facebook so I found it and ordered."

Everyone opened their presents and had hot chocolate. They watched classic movies and discussed future adventures for the new year.

~New Year's Eve~

"How are the twins?"

"They're fine. Are you and Finn having a good time?"

"Yes. We're going for drinks with some of the guys to ring in the New Year."

"Ok. Alisha and Brooklyn came over to hang out is that ok?"

"Yeah. Rowan already asked me about it. I'll call you tomorrow."

"Ok. I love you."

"I love you too." Maeve hung up and looked at Finn.

"A night just to us."

"I mean after your match, I have you all to myself."

"Yes you do." Finn leaned over and kissed Maeve. They parked and walked into building filled with other wrestlers.

After Finn was tossed from the ring he walked over to Maeve and kissed her. He walked to the back and waited for Maeve to find him.

"Hello babe."

"Good match. Ready for dinner?"

"Yes but first," Finn got down on one knee, pulled out a little black box with a diamond ring, "Will you marry me?" Maeve didn't know what to say.

"No way!" Around the couple was Seth and Dean holding up Face time videos from Roman and Bryan. "You planned this for me?"

"Yeah. I mean I was going to ask when we got back with the twins so they could be a part of it but I couldn't wait."

"Finn, I would be honored to be your wife." Finn slipped the ring onto her finger, giving her a kiss. Someone caught the picture and it was all over the internet in two seconds.

"Everyone is talking about you already."

"That's because someone posted it. But now that we're on our way to dinner, we'll post it now." Maeve walked out with Finn and posted the news of her and Finn being engaged.

"Hey Babe, how about after dinner we try for more kids?"

"Uh can we wait until the wedding?"

"Do we have to?" Finn whined, "We can get some protection."

"Fine." Maeve kissed Finn.

They were in for a fun night.
