Never Gonna Be The Same

Finn walked inside his apartment for the first time in a while. He finished his last two matches that he was requested to do before going on break. Roman, Seth and Dean followed him into his apartment.

"So this Friday huh?"

"Yeah. Baby shower then Maeve is getting her last check up before the babies come. We might ended up going to the hospital after the check up."

"That's nice. You guys excited?"

"Yes."

The week came and went. Friday approached and Finn was in a hotel room with Maeve, helping her get ready.

"Thank you. I can't wait to see our munchkins in person." Maeve kissed Finn before they walked out of the room.

"Congratulations!" Maeve jumped a little at the happy shouts from her friends and family. The pair worked their way around the room before going to sit in the front of the room.

"Hey it's so good to see you again!" Brie and Nikki hugged Maeve before sitting next to her.

"Good to see you again too! How's the baby?"

"Good. She's with Daniel." Brie pointed towards her husband who was holding the baby while talking to the Miz aka Mike.

"Despite their war on Smack down, they get along pretty well." Maeve smiled at the men playing with their babies. "Finn is gonna be like that."

"Huh?" Finn looked at Maeve, "Gonna be like what?"

"Look at Daniel and Mike. That's gonna be you with your baby girl." Finn smiled and leaned over to kiss Maeve.

"Hello Maeve." Maeve looked up from the Bella twins to see the Riott squad.

"What are you doing here?"

"I brought you a gift." Liv dumped a bag of diapers on Maeve. The Riott squad laughed and walked out. Maeve was ready to cry. The day was supposed to be happy but the Riott squad couldn't let that happened. The females instantly went to Maeve's side while the men were in shock. Except Finn. He ran out to find Liv.

"Liv Morgan! Get over!" Liv smirked before turning around to see Finn standing there, fuming.

"Decided you wanted a real woman?"

"No! Leave Maeve alone! You can not do this to her! Today was supposed to be a happy day for her and you ruined that by embarrassing her! Just leave us alone."

"No. I like you Finn. I really do. I'm better than her at everything and besides I can be your mixed tag team partner if you need one."

"I don't and I won't need one. And if I did, it wouldn't be you, it would be Bayley or Ronda. Just stop." 

"I wonder what Maeve thinks that you chased after me instead of consoling her." Finn shook his head and walked back to Maeve. He rubbed her back and helped her calm down.

"Do you want some ice cream?"

"Yes." Maeve sniffled while someone got her ice cream.

"I told Liv off."

"She's not gonna stop."

"I'll make her stop." Bayley stood up and walked over to Maeve, "She needs to know that she doesn't get a chance with Finn and never will." Maeve slowly ate her ice cream while the men cleaned up the diapers around her. 

After the area was cleaned up, Finn set up for them to open gifts. Maeve was smiling again as Finn was getting the larger gifts for Maeve to open.

And hours of playing games and talking and opening presents, Maeve and Finn were wrapping up the party. Bryan, Roman, Seth, Dean and Finn were packing the gifts into his truck.
