I'm okay now
Or at least I want to be
I'm still quiet
I do not reach out
But I'm trying to fill in the holes in my soul
I'm getting closer to feeling complete
The blank spaces are now filled with words
Quotes and lines of inspiration
Given to me by music, stories, and poetry
Songs take over my mind
Books settled into my heart
Words have infected my soul
So no, I'm not okay
I find more comfort in paper than people
But I'm trying
It's mending me where others hurt
And now I feel like the future is closer
And I'm closer to being okay
