You may still think monsters are in your closet
Or under your bed
But all along they were in your head
They lurk and stalk
Your mind and thoughts
They come to know you through and true
And before long they become you
A battle is fought and sadly lost
But there is a reason for that under this skin and bone
You're fighting against your true nature
And true nature doesn't stand alone
You're on both sides of the battle you see
And being split comes with a fee
You may believe in the good side in your heart
But deep down your a spy for the bad part
There is a saying that good will always win
But what people don't really know
Is that there is only a speck of good within
