A song-fic thing
The song being Cecilia And The Satellite by Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness(No ones point of view)
Sebastian messed with the ring on his finger as he watched the world zoom past him from the tour bus window. His mind was consumed with her.
I've cafe crawled through Amsterdam
He watched the trees form into green jumbles and the upcoming city rise into view like the sun upon the horizon.Been around the world with a punk rock band
He took a moment to look at his hand. He pulled himself from the hypnotizing view of the city and gazed upon the band that decorated his ring finger.
And I've seen London, and I've played Japan
The tour was coming to a close. A close that was so near that Sebastian could taste it on his tongue. He was eager to play the last show for he knew that after the last show his final destination would be where he went next, her arms.
I've been knocked down, I got up again
Sebastian fell asleep with his head leaned against the window. Tonight he couldn't hang out with the boys, he couldn't waste away hours watching tv or listening to music, he couldn't even drink. He couldn't pull himself from the lonely cloud that wrapped itself around him. He couldn't pull himself from the thought of her.
For all the places I have been, I'm no place without you
He woke up in the early hours of the morning. His eyes went to the window to see they had made it to the venue.
If I could fly, then I would know
He shook Remington and Emerson awake only to gain complaints of the early time. Once they all were awake they began setting up for their afternoon show.
What life looks like from up above and down below
The equipment was set up, the instruments were in place, the boys were ready. They appeared upon the stage and performed the best show they have done all tour.
I'd keep you safe, I'd keep you dry
Once the show was over, the last chord played and the last note sang, the tour bus was once again packed full of equipment and tired, but joyful, boys. On that night, celebratory drinks were drunk, laughs were thrown through the bus, unforgettable memories were made.
Don't be afraid, Cecilia, I'm the satellite
And you're the skySebastian now sprinted through the airport, excited to get to where they were going. They were in no real hurry for they were surprisingly on time, but Sebastian wanted desperately to get where they were going. He needed to get there.
I'm the satellite, And you're the sky
As the plane landed upon the runway, Sebastian couldn't contain his smile. He knew she was there. She was so close. He exited the plane, grabbed his luggage, and began looking. He hurried through the crowd of people. His eyes went from the room to the text on his phone that held her location. He made a turn around a corner, his heart wildly thumping. As he looked up once more, his eyes were caught to a pair that he knew so well. From across the room, he saw her. His feet took him as fast as they could carry him. As they ran to each other, the crowd parted in some spots, letting them reach one another. Sebastian dropped his bags and caught her as she jumped into his arms. He held her tighter than he ever had before, determined to never let go. He'd never let go.
For all the things my hands have held
