Brooke's POV.

"Get the fuck off her!!!" I looked over at Niall standing at the door. He was walking over here, his hands in tight fists.

"Calm down dude, we were just having some fun," The guy laughed. I think he winked at me but I couldn't tell.

"Who the fuck are you?? She doesn't know you, she's drunk so get off her, leave her alone!" He yelled at his face.

The guy backed up and got off the bed, both of his hands were up.

"Niall, what are you talking about?" I tell him. My eyes could barely stay open but I managed.

Then I realized it was just Niall and I. That guy left.

"What do you mean 'what are you talking about?' He was hooking up with you, and I'm sorry this ever happened okay? I should have never asked you to come," His voice turned soft.

"Whatever, hooking up isn't a big deal, I don't care, and I'm not that drunk," I explain to him. But I spoke too soon. I felt my stomach churning and up came my lunch. Oops.

"We're leaving now, and I'm taking you home," He says. His voice was fading. What was happening?

He picked me up bridal style and we were headed downstairs. People glanced over, looking at what was wrong. Then Niall went out the door and into his car, putting me in the passenger's seat.

Niall's POV.

I started my car and drove as fast as I could to her house. She looked as if she was going to pass out soon and I don't think her mom would like that. When I got to her house, I picked her up again and tried my hardest to ring the doorbell whilst keeping Brooke from falling off my arms.

"No," I heard Brooke try to say.

"Don't worry, we're already at your house, everything's going to be okay." I assured.

She shook her head until she got knocked out again. Her head dropped down.

Then, the door opened slightly, and then wide open, Brooke's mother standing there with wide eyes.

I went right in the house without asking. I needed to put Brooke down somewhere. "I'm sorry for barging in Mrs. Madden but-"

"Why do you have my daughter?! Who the fuck are you?!" She swatted at me and pushed me away from Brooke.

I rubbed at the place where she smacked me. That lady hits hard. Geez.

"I was only trying to help." I try and calm her.

"Did you give her drugs??? What did you do to her?"

"No, I would never do that to her. But she's passed out Ma'am. I'm her friend, Niall, I brought her here because she didn't look so well. I didn't want her to stay at that party anymore," I attempted to explain. But I saw in her mother's eyes she only saw me as someone who purposefully tried harming her daughter.

"Party?! You brought her to a party? Why the fuck did you bring her to a party you twat!" She exclaimed.

"It was just a party, it wasn't like-"

"Then explain why she's passed out, hm? Does that seem like it was a simple party?!"

"I didn't intend for her to be in this kind of condition. I was only helping her." I repeat again.

Brooke was beginning to get up from the couch, but her eyes were still barely open. Then her mom turned to me, "You'll never come near my daughter again, you hear me?! You're not allowed to see her anymore. You are not friends, you too are nothing, got that? Now leave my house!!" She yelled.

Ouch.

With no other choice, I slowly returned to my car again. I sat at the drivers seat. Not driving out the driveway. Not starting the car. Just sitting. How can I not be allowed to talk to Brooke again? She's been nice to me, and isn't like others. She doesn't deserve this.

Brooke's POV.

Do I seriously deserve this?

I was there on the couch. My mother hovering over me with a worried look on her face. I was surprised. Since when did my mother actually care for me?

"Brooke, what the fuck have you become? You should be ashamed of yourself,"

Yep, there it is.

I decided to just tell her. What's the point in lying about it anyway?

I tried talking, "I went to a party with my friend Niall-"

I got cut off by my mom saying, "He's not your friend. He will never be. Didn't you hear me? I don't want you to be with people like him."

It hurt like hell to talk so I didn't tell her anything back. Who cares. She doesn't know anything anyway. She's just another person who won't take their time to talk to me and listen. She wouldn't try and put a smile on my face. She wouldn't try to make me feel better. She's like everyone else. But not Niall. Why can't she understand that? He's the only one who reaches out to help me. Ever since day one he's been trying to help. That's all. He is my only friend. And still will be.

And maybe he's more than that.
