Sonnet 17

He knew he shouldn't be mad at her. Whatever the reason it was. Still, he was sad, disappointed and mad at himself. Angry because he can't stop the way he feels. Angry at the fact that he couldn't go back in time and stop himself from falling in love with Amy.  Desperate to stop himself from visiting her every night at midnight. That his heart belonged to her, but hers wasn't his.

    He looked up at the ceiling of the flower shop or better say at Zeno's house/resistance base. Wondering if the two lovers in the castle were still there, enjoying each other's company, loving themselves and each other.

    "You are still thinking about them?"- Lozen then showed up walking towards Shadow as she took a seat next to him.

"Yeah"- Shadow couldn't deny that fact. Also because Lozen was down the tower, probably seeing and hearing everything that happened.

"Well, you can't force her to love you"

"I know that, and it's ok...but that doesn't mean that it still hurts"

"You will get over her...love doesn't kill you"

"I don't want to get over her...that someone doesn't accept your love, it doesn't mean that you should stop loving them or stop showing that you care for them...it will just be hard for me to accept the fact that she will never love me"- Shadow looked disappointed, not at Amy but at himself for being so selfish before. Amy had gone through many difficulties, and maybe loving Sonic was the only thing that kept her going. Amy out of everyone deserved to love and be loved back. However, he couldn't see that a few hours ago.

"Stop saying things like that"- Lozen turned to look at Shadow and Shadow did the same. He had to admit that Lozen was a beautiful fox, he appreciated her beauty for a few more seconds and Lozen took notice into this.

"Stop saying those things...you are making me fall in love with you"- Lozen, like Shadow, was someone of few words and more action. Shadow was taken back when he felt Lozen's lips against his. She closed her eyes and deepened the kiss but Shadow kept still, not wanting to hurt her feelings either.

"I am sorry"- Shadow said as he pulled away. Now feeling and understanding more of Amy's situation.

"It's ok...I am sorry"

"No, it's ok...but why did you do it? Do you really have feelings for me?"

"...No, I just felt like kissing you...I am that way"

    Shadow and Lozen kept quiet but a few seconds passed and Shadow laughed.

"You really got me there, haha, I knew you weren't that type of girl"

"That type of girl? What do you  mean?"- Lozen said a bit hurt and offended at the time.

"I feel like you are very strong and independent...I don't think you need a guy in order to be happy...I like that about you"- Shadow said with a smirk.

    Lozen then turned around not wanting to show Shadow her obvious blush.

"Anyways, thank you"- Shadow said again.

"For what?"

"For a moment I thought your feelings for me were sincere...I was scared that I might hurt your feelings if I didn't respond to your love, especially because I care about you...I guess this is what Amy is feeling right now, I think I was being very selfish and only thinking about my own feelings"- Shadow looked up to where the castle was located at and sighed.

"I really hope Amy is happy with him"

"SHUT UP!"- Lozen then stood up and once again, Shadow was puzzled at her actions.
