By the time we all walk out into the players parking lot, I felt terrible. I was so tired and I could barely keep my eyes open. I rested my head on Dougie's shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me. I heard Gabe and Dougie carrying on a conversation, but I kept zoning in and out.

I sat in the back seat. I rested my head against the window and I heard Gabe calling my name.

"What? Huh?" I mumble, rubbing my eyes.

"I asked if you just wanted to get pizza and go home? Dougie can spend the night." Gabe says with a chuckle.

"That would be good," I force a smile, closing my eyes and dozing off for the rest of the ride home.

When we arrived at the apartment, I heard my car door open and I felt strong arms wrap around my body. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Gabe was carrying me up. I smiled to myself as I rested one of my hands against his chest, softly and slowly rubbing it.

"Pizza is on it's way, sweetheart. I'll help you change," Gabe whispers against my hair, soon kissing my head.

We made our way inside our apartment, Dougie dragging his suitcase behind him. Gabe carried me to my room and softly placed me on the bed. He went over to my dresser and looked through my clothes for me. He ended up picking a pair of black booty shorts and one of his Sweden t-shirts I had stolen from him. He walked over to me and pulled me up from my position on the bed and slowly started to undress me.

"It's been a while since you've undressed me." I whisper, struggling to keep my eyes open.

"I know," he whispers as he stares at my half naked body.

He kneels down and pulls my shorts up, sliding his hands across my thighs as he does so. His hands then run up to my bra and unhook it. He tries not to stare as he helps me into the shirt, biting his lip in the process.

I looked up at him and I saw so many different things in his eyes. I saw love, commitment, joy, pain, sadness. I saw so many different emotions. I blinked my eyes slowly at him as I leaned in, softly cupping his face with my hands.

"What's wrong?" I whisper, looking directly into his eyes.

"What happened with you and fucking Tyler should have never happened," he replies, pressing his forehead against mine. "I should have been there to save you. I should have been your first."

"But you didn't know me then," I say as I trace his jawline with my fingers.

"It doesn't matter. If I was there, I would have stopped everything. You wouldn't have been drugged or raped. I would have saved you," he whispers, his voice cracking.

"Gabe, there's nothing you can do. Yes, I feel absolutely violated and I feel like my dignity and self-worth is destroyed. I shouldn't have been drinking or even at that party to begin with. You can't save me all the time," my lips start to shake as I try to fight back the tears.

"I love you more than anyone or anything. I want to give you the life you have always wanted. I know we have had our obstacles, a hell of a lot of them; but that will never, ever, stop me from loving you." Gabe whispers against my lips. "No matter what happens, I will always love you, Mallory."

"Always?" I whisper in disbelief.

"Always," he confirms before he crashes his lips to mine.

"Pizza's here!" I hear Dougie's voice from the living room shout with glee.

"Fucking Dougie," Gabe mumbles as he pulls his lips away from mine. "Such a cock block."

"Gabe!" I squeal and smack him in the arm, causing him to smirk and chuckle at me.
