3 months later
Kaylas POV
I wake up and get out of bed to feel a sharp pain in my stomach. I look down to see a puddle of water under me. I yell "Anna it's time." She comes running in and grabs the bag before helping me to the car where she drives to the hospital. I get rushed to a room and a doctor say "you need to push now." I push as much as I can and I soon hear cries filling the room. The doctor wraps him up and passes him to me. I hug him then the nurse takes him to be checked. A doctor then walks in and says "what is baby Halstead gonna be called." I smile and say "Mason Arthur Halstead." He nods and walks out. Me and Anna sit talking for a while when the nurse brings Mason in. I hold him and he opens his bright blue eyes. I smile at him and I hear a rough voice outside the room. I look out to see Hank stood at front desk. Anna looks at me and says "I thought you might want done family with you." I smile then Hank walks in. He looks at me holding Mason and says "it happened again didn't it." I nod and he walks over giving me a hug. I look at him and say "do you wanna hold him."
He smile so I pass Mason to him and he says "hey little guy I'm your great grandad." I smile and Hank passes Mason back to me with a phone and says "I expect updates on how you and the baby are. And I will fly down every so often to see you." I smile and give him another hug before he leaves. The doctor comes in and says "your discharge papers are done an so is the birth certificate so you can leave." I nod and get up before picking Mason up and walking out. When we get home I put Mason in his crib before starting a search for a job. I find one in FBI and as I have already passed police academy I can join. I send an email and get one back saying I need to be there tomorrow morning. I walk out of my room and say to Anna "can you look after Mason tomorrow please." She nods and say "why." I smile and say "job interview." She nods so I go to bed and prepare my mind for tomorrow.
I wake up and go to the crib to see Mason still asleep. I get dressed into a navy blue t-shirt,Black skinny jeans and black combat boots. I then do my hair and when I am done Mason wakes up. I pick him up and give him a kiss on the head before saying "your gonna spend the day with Aunt Anna." He then begins to laugh. I carry him to the front room and heat up a bottle for him. When it is warm I feed him and burp him before passing him to Anna." I then say bye to both of them and leave to go to FBI headquarters. When I arrive I go to the front desk and a woman looks at me and say "Kayla Halstead." I nod and she puts her hand out and says "Megan Becham." I nod and she leads my up some stairs to a group of people. She gets they're attention before pointing to each one and saying "that's Carter,Nick,Miles ,Zander, Logan, Mike and Tina. Guys this is Kayla Halstead our newest member." Everyone says hi and begin working on a case. I walk over to the board to get a batter look to see it was a serial killer. After working 8 hours we close the case and we all go home. When I get back I see Anna reading to Mason. I walk over and pick him up before walking to my room. I sit on my bed hugging him and he falls asleep so I carefully put him in his crib and get changed before going to bed.
