The Dissolution

Chapter 4

Six days have passed since the three kunoichis been gone on their mission to find an expensive item that was stolen by rank B ninjas which they found the jewel successfully and return it to its rightful owner. They were now running on the trees through the forest on their way back to the leaf village.

"I can't believe it took us six days to complete a mission, were chunins it should have at least taken us three days." Sarada complained.

  "I agree but remember we knew it was going to take us about a week to finish this mission, look we're going to be back at the leaf village in a couple of hours so until then let's just relax. Chocho are you happy to be going back to see you know who?" Himawari asked.

Chocho smiled but once she realized what she was doing her face harden. "Half of me wants to see him but the other half doesn't, to be honest, I don't know where this relationship is going so no I won't be happy to see him I'm going to avoid him at all cost when we get back clearly he likes girls like Sumire so he should just marry her." Chocho went on a rant.

As she was ranting about Mitsuki Sarada heard something in the distance as they were running through the trees, suddenly she saw eight shurikens flying towards them her eyes widen.

"CHOCHO HIMA JUMP DOWN." She yelled causing the three kunoichis to quickly react dodging the shurikens by jumping off the tree branch and landing on the ground in a fighting stance. They watch as the shurikens landed on the tree branch they were previously on and they quickly looked up in the trees trying to find the ninja who threw it.

"Keep your eyes open girls whoever threw those shurikens could be anywhere." Sarada said calmly.

Chocho right fist enlarged as her face showed she was ready for a fight.

"Himawari can you locate the enemy." Chocho said.

Himawari shakingly looked up towards the trees and started scanning through the trees using her byakugan her eyes then adverted to her friends.

"No, I don't see anyone or their chakra." Hima said nervously.

Suddenly as they were standing there looking upwards at the trees Himawari falls to the ground causing the two kunoichis to help her up.

"Are you ok?" Chocho asked.

Hima got up dusting herself off, "No it felt like something pushed me."

"There was no one behind you." Sarada said worriedly.

As soon as she said that she felt herself being punched in the face causing her to hit the ground hard.

"SARADA!" Chocho and Hima yelled in unison.

Sarada slowly sat up and coughed, her left cheek was red and swollen. Chocho examined her friend bruised face now officially angry, she walked a couple of feet away from her friends and looked straight ahead.

"WHOEVER IS DOING THIS NEED TO STOP NOW, I HAD A REALLY BAD WEEK AND RIGHT NOW I WANT TO GO HOME AND EAT SOME CHIPS SO THE NEXT TIME YOU TRY SOMETHING YOU won't UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Before Chocho could finish her sentence she felt a hand wrap around her throat and lift her into the air she tried to see who was choking her but no one was in front of her as she was gasping for air hitting at the invisible thing in front of her Sarada and Himawari ran towards her trying to help when they felt themselves kicked back on the ground.

Chocho tried prying whatever was around her neck off of her and it worked, whatever was choking her up in the air threw her body causing her to violently hit a tree she sat up quickly rubbing her back in pain and crawled towards her friends. as the three kunoichis tried regrouping they jump back when they saw two ninjas appear in front of them.
