I still don't understand why Amy has to always ask if I have eaten. I know I have forgotten to eat a couple times, but that's only because I'm never hungry. The only time I'm hungry is when I leave Moon Beam Territory, than I'm like any other Dragon. I don't know what it is.
I will admit I had forgotten. The minute I heard Amy speak I knew I messed up, so I said I was getting ready, and I was. I had just started sliding into an Armor set.
The beasts on our territory are ruthless and very powerful. So when ever we go hunting we have to wear armor just in case they decide to desturb our hunt.
I get out side and meet up with my two brothers, three sister's and Father. Max, Terrance, Samantha, Reina, and Tasilla. They are all grey. I, on the hand, am completely black.
"Look who decided to join us!" (Tasilla)
"We were about to leave you." (Terrance)
"You know bro, why is it, that you are always the last to get ready?" (Reina)
"You know how hard it is to tell the time here. The moon is always in the same spot, it never moves." (Knight)
I look at my sister with a straight face. Any and all irritation twords her masked. I know they don't like me, and I don't really care. Just because they don't like me, doesn't mean they have the guts to fight me. Just like Amy, I'm extremely strong for a ten year old dragon. Everyone in my family, other than my mom, has tried to attack me, and they all failed.
All I had to use was my tail. I swung it around striking in places that would cause pain but wouldn't kill them. Once, Terrance thought he could sneak up on me, but he didn't get very far. Before he could even jump on me I had my tail wrapped around his throat and a spike pointed to the side of his face, from the top of my tail.
That was when I was 6. His attempts at bullying were no good either. Around my family and other moon dragons I'm completely stoic. He eventually gave up.
However, in Dream State, or through mind link I can't hide my emotions. My stoic persona doesn't come through. I was glad I had Dream State to go to.
There I can vent out all the emotions I held inside that day. On my worst days I would end curled up next to Amy, and I would cry. I don't cry often, but when I do, you will know something is terribly wrong. She doesn't judge me on it. She just let's me cry it out.
Dragons mature faster than their size and age, so we're practicly teenagers in human years. However, for me and Amy were practicly Adults. I guess you say we skipped childhood, and were born teenagers.
"What ever. Just don't get in the way." (Reina)
Those were the last words spoken to me by them the whole hunt.
During the hunt three beasts showed up. I managed to take down two. While Father took out the other one. Looking over to my siblings they had migrated to a corner of the clearing we had fought in.
I rolled my eyes and returned my focas to the dead beasts in front of me. They were Deer Beasts the one Father took out was a Bull beast.
Dear Beasts were twice the size of a normal Deer, and their Antlers were ten times as deadly. They could be eaten just the same as any other deer. Just harder to kill.
Bull Beasts on the other hand, were about three times their normal size and their horns the size of a full grown human male. Again their, useability is the same as any other bull, just harder to kill.
Father knew what I was capable of, he learned that first hand. So it came as no surprise that I could take on and kill two full grown Deer Beasts.
Using my tail I wrapped my tail around one of them, wrapping it around the waist, and lifted it off the ground. Spreading out my wings I took off into the air then taking a nose dive picking up the second in my talons, having to use two feet.
