Swimming is my favorite thing to do. In the open sea, surrounded by water creatures, and endless obsticles. The only place better than this are my dreams. Where I can be myself around my only friends and not have to worry about being alone.
Every night when I go to sleep, I end up in a dream world. Along with 5 others. It's always been like this. Us 6. We've always been connected. 10 years, since I hatched, and for 3 days I was alone in a giant ocean dream with no land every night. Than I met Drake.
When Drake hatched he joined me in the dreams than the huge ocean turned into a huge island with an endless forest with a big pond and a water fall. It's really fun to swim in.
About a week later, came Knight and Amillia. And with them, came the border of night and day. Half of the realm was daytime the other half was night time. But that didn't mean they only stayed on the side they represent.
Two days later Blake showed up and with him the clearing by the pond widened a whole bunch and their was a meadow. Animals started showing up and it was truly beautiful.
The next day Katerina showed up and with her came this small mountain range with a exactly 6 caves.
Every night we would hang out and we would get to know each other. Talk and show each other what we've learned.
"Hey Serena, what are you up too?"(Drake)
Oh! And we've developed such a tight bond that we can speak too each other through a mind-link. No other dragons have this. It probably has something to do with the fact that we all have the same dream place.
"Swimming. What about you Drake?"(Serena)
"Nothing, I'm bored. I'm all out of ideas. I've ran with horses, I've gone swimming with the fish, I've climbed trees with monkeys, done all my training for today. I've ran out of things to do. I just wish we could all meet up during the day. Instead of waiting for night time, or in Knights case 'sleep time' isn't it always night time where you are?"(Drake)
"Huh? Oh, ya. The sun doesn't rise here."(Knight)
"It's too bad. The sun is so warm and welcoming. I could spend forever just laying under it." (Amy)
"I really don't mind. I prefer the moon anyway. I spend plenty of time in the sun in the dreams realm"(Knight)
"It's not real though. It's all artificial."(Amy)
"What are you guys babbling on about now?"(Blake)
"The difference between the real sun and the dream sun."(Serena)
I swim up to the surface and see the sun is just above the horizon. Supper time.
"Hey guys I have to go. It's supper time. See you in Dream State."(Serena)
"See you in Dream State."(Drake, Amy, Knight, Blake)
I closed the link and made my way back home.
"How was your swim sweetie?" My dad asks.
"It was nice and relaxing, Daddy."
I swam over and kissed him on the cheek, before taking a seat at the table.
"*Ahem*"
"Sorry."
I get up and move to the other side of the table kiss my mom on the cheek, and go back to my seat.
"So, where are we hunting today?" I ask.
"The kelp forest. It's been what, 3 weeks, since we've last been hunting there?" My dad answers.
My eyes widen.
"2 weeks, 4 days, actually. Anyway, let's get going!" I jump up and swim up to my room to grab my ticket book.
All water Dragons get monthly ticket books. It's proof that you are a citizen and have permission to hunt in a certain area. We've only used the Kelp Forest card once this month, so we still have 3 more punches for it.
The Kelp Forest is the most popular hunting spot so it has less punches per month, to prevent over hunting.
I race to the front door to see my parents waiting for me.
"Lets go!" I zoom out the door at top speed, and that pretty fast. I'm the fastest swimmer, and my hunting call is the most accurate. It doesn't matter where we go hunting, I always manage to draw the most fish. Dragons are always lineing up to be my hunting partner during lunch at school.
When I reach the Kelp Forest, I have to wait 10 minutes for my parents to get here.
We hand are cards to the keeper and head inside.
My parents give me the signal and send out the series of clicks, clacks, and random sound to call the fish.
10 seconds later a school of Kelp Fish are coming towards us.
"Order up." I exclaim.

"That was the best hunt yet!" I yell.
I twirl around in the water, and do a series of flips.
My parents start laughing and I join in.
We grab our cards, and head home. I have the best parents ever. I love them, and I don't ever want this to end.
