Thirteen teens are chosen to become the next protectors of the Sun and the Moon, in which the Moon orbits the Earth thirteen times. In order to become the Protectors, the Thirteen must undergo three valuable tests. If you don't make it, you're not a protector. And if you undergo the test and you're not a protector, then you're dead. Legend says that it's the Mythical Thirteen that rise to the occasion—all of which attend Shadow Academy, however, only seven were chosen. That, in itself, causes more problems that is seems.
