Baby’s POV:
Mitchell shoved his hands in his pockets and shifted his weight onto another foot. He smirked before giving me a sup nod.
I pushed my hair behind my ears, sighing heavily. “Not that I don’t enjoy your presence, which I don’t by the way, why are you here?”
He grinned, “I missed you too princess.”
“Seriously though, where is my family?” I raised my eyebrows.
“How the hell am I supposed to know? They called me last minute and told me to hurry over here so I could get your ass, because they couldn’t.”
I nodded, looking Mitchell up and down. He was taller than I remembered. He was wearing a loose white T-shirt and a pair of tan khakis. Even though the shirt was loose, you could tell how much muscle he had. He had a dark tan and it made his dark hair look even darker than it was. The shirt sleeves were tight on his now large biceps, and his eyes wouldn’t stop trailing over my body.
I smirked at the attention I was getting.
After all the torture I was put through, maybe…I could get a little revenge.
His eyes stopped on my chest and I bit my bottom lip softly, before using my finger to lift his chin up. “Hey, big boy. My eyes are up here. Stop gawking, and help a lady out.” I said, dropping a few of my bags.
He grumbled something before grabbing the bags and lifting them over his shoulders. He started walking in front of me, leading me to his car. We stopped at a shiny black jeep and I looked it over. Hmm. Mitchell did seem like a jeep guy. He grabbed my bags, throwing them in his back seat. I hoisted myself up into the passenger seat and waited for him to get in the driver’s side.
“How was Australia?” He asked as he pulled away from the airport.
I shrugged. “Pretty good. I had a really nice family.”
“Mm, I bet it sucked because you didn’t have me there.” He looked away from the road long enough to lock eyes with me and smirk.
“Oh, you know it.” I winked, pulling out a bag of chocolate raisins. “Want one?” He nodded, holding his hand out. “Nope.” I said, swatting his hand away.
Let the games begin.
I grabbed one out of the bag and held it up to his mouth as he was driving. He opened his mouth, waiting for me to drop it in, but instead I let go of it into his lap. His jaw dropped as if dropping that was a life changing moment for him.
“No worries, I got it.” I smirked, and bit my lip.
I reached over and slid my hand in between his legs. I could feel him tense up as I searched around in his lap for the raisin. He looked over at me with shocked eyes, as if he couldn’t believe what I was doing. After teasing him ‘accidently’, I pulled my hand back and shrugged.
“It’s lost.”
He reached down and pulled it up. “No, it was right here. I’m sure you didn’t see it.” He smirked, before plopping it in his mouth.
I raised my eyebrows, grinning and shrugging. “Whoopsie!”
He nodded, and I’m sure he knew what I was doing. He finally pulled up the driveway that I had been so familiar with. It now seemed foreign to me. I grinned, extremely excited to see my parents and my brother. I had missed them all so dearly while I was gone. I jumped out of the car and ran to the door, not bothering to grab my things. I jiggled the door knob, but it was locked.
