I woke up Monday morning to hear yelling downstairs. I got up and slowly made my way down the stairs

"I don't care Michael it's just too much" Karen yells

"Mom we can't, you know we can't" I hear his voice crack "mom please"

"We don't have the money, I'm sorry"

"Then I'll leave"

"Michael no, your staying. Don't say that" I go up to my room and get ready for the day, assuming I wasn't supposed to hear that. I wore a pair of blue skinny jeans, a long sleeve black top and basic black vans. I heard a soft knock at my door as soon as I was ready

"Hey Michael" I say as he walks in. He lies on my bed "is everything ok"

"Um yeah. Ashton's gonna be here soon so I was making sure your were ready"

"I am"

"Come on then" we walk downstairs and go to leave

"Have a good day at school kids" I hear Karen say. Michael mumbled something but I couldn't understand what. He didn't talk at all during the car ride.

"So Calum, Olivia, how was your night" ash asks as soon as we pull out of the drive way

"Terrible, he bought me my least favourite food and tried to push me off a cliff" I joke

"You're the worst, know that?" Cal says and i laugh at him

"It was great Ashton, thanks for asking" we get to school and went to our lockers. I got my math books and left with Luke and Calum for class. Even though I did all the work from last week, I still had no idea what we were doing in science. We were sitting at lunch now "mike are you sure everything's ok? You haven't said anything like the whole day"

"Yeah liv I'm fine, ash I gotta talk to you about something" they left, leaving me Luke and cal

"Do you guys know what's up with him"

"Not a clue, sorry" Luke says. In history class, calums hand rested on my thigh. We dropped off Luke and Calum first today which is kinda weird. I went inside the house with ash and mikey

"Liv go to your room and pack a bag for the next few days"

"What? Why?" I ask Michael

"Listen to him, we'll explain later" ash added. I did as I was told and met them downstairs "say bye to Michael" I gave him a hug

"What's going on"

"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Ok, bye mikey" I got in the car with Ashton

"Liv your staying with me for a bit"

"Why"

"I'm not 100 percent sure myself, but I can't tell you what I do know"

"Ok"

"It's all going to be fine, were just working things out right now" he grabs my hand and lightly squeezes it "dont worry, ok?"

"I'll try"

ASHTONS POV

"Yeah liv I'm fine, ash I gotta talk to you about something" I got up with Michael and we left everyone else

"What's up"

"Dad lost his job, moms not making enough money. My mom said she can't live with us anymore. I tried I even said I would leave but she's not having it"

"What?"

"Olivia, my mom can't afford with food and everything for her to keep living wth us"

"She can't just kick her out can she?"
