Senior year at Gotham High was almost at an end, Harleen was doing great, she still manages to be on top despite all the obstacles she faced.
Her gymnastics fame was at an all time high. She didn't accept the Olympic offer however, saying she needs to "represent herself, not a country.".
Though many might disagree with her, but she's an independent woman, who now depends on a man to keep her happy. Ironic.
Julius was doing great, he became football captain, and athlete of the year. He dedicated it all to his family, his friend, and his girlfriend, yes Harleen already answered Julius' courtship question to put a label on them, everyone wasn't that shocked.
When did it happen?
Harleen was grabbing lunch a few days before, and Julius was just staring at her from afar, when one of Julius' friends, Mark, came and tapped him on the shoulder "So, she yours yet?" Julius laughed "She's already mine butthead, it's only a label missing not the relationship."
Mark replied "You know that's stupid right? You guys clearly have a relationship and there's no label? That's bullshit. You always wanted to stick with the weird ones."
Julius chuckled "And you wanted to stick with the rich ones." Mark laughed as he replied "Nah man it's a perk, not the reason. Well in any case you should go ask her." Julius glared at his friend "Again? I've been asking her almost every-time we go out."
Mark laughed "And when was the last?" "Three days ago." "A lot of things can change in three days Julius, even minds. Now go!"
He pushed Julius towards the way of Harleen, Julius gulped as he walks nearer to her "what if she says no again? what if she gets annoyed and never talks to me?"
Julius slowly crept up behind Harleen and grabbed her shoulders, Harleen was completely surprised and grabbed Julius wrists, twisting it almost to the point of breaking.
Julius shouted in pain "Ow! It's me! Julius!" Harleen realizing it was his, quickly lets go of his hand "I'm so sorry! I didn't know!" Julius laughed holding his wrists "Yeah yea, i'm sorry too."
Harleen looked at Julius "So what's up?" "Oh nothing, just wanted to check on you, while enduring the pain of my now almost broken hands." Harleen giggled "Sorry, I learned self defense ever since what happened in the past."
Julius asked "And which one?" Harleen looked at him, and replied in a serious manner "All of them." Julius sat down beside Harleen "Well, if it's any help. You improved." Harleen was flattered "You think so?" Julius then showed his wrist "I mean look at that, it's bruising. I haven't had my wrist bruised since I had a bad catch a few games back."
Harleen was feeling guilty for almost breaking his hand. Julius remembered what he was there for "So, I've been thinking. It's been at least months since I started courting you. I gave you time, help, gifts and all. So.. just to finally clear something up... can you be my gir-" Harleen butted in "Yes. My answer is yes."
Julius paused, shocked and overwhelmed with happiness he screamed internally like a fan boy seeing his idol. "Wait, are... Are you serious?"
Harleen laughed "Do I look like i'm joking? or do you want me to be joking?" Julius grabbed Harleen's hand "No I want you. I want to be with you, it's just that, it feels like a dream come true." Harleen blushed and pulled her hand back.
"Whatever, cutiepie." Julius invited Harleen "We should celebrate, my place, later?" Harleen checked her notebook "We have homework." "Then let's do it at my place, come on!" Harleen giggled about "Sure, if it's just homework we'll be doing." and winked at Julius.
