You could never tell what a child's dream would be really. Sometimes they say a doctor, a pilot, a nurse. Mostly because that's what they're parents want.

For Harleen, it was always one thing, psychiatrist. Uncommon, but that was why she chose it.

She knew there were few in Gotham, maybe she could be the only one. She wanted to understand other people, feel what they are feeling, see what they see. And she wants to help them as well.

Her parents never tried to change her mind, they let her do whatever course she wants because she deserves it. She was offered a lot of scholarships in different universities and she only grabbed one.

Metropolis State, it was an offer by Wayne Enterprises, after going there she would have a sure job in Metropolis Botany Garden.

It wasn't what she had in plan but at least she has a sure fallout if things went south with her career.

But there was a problem, she has to move there to a dorm, Metropolis state is too far away for her to go there and back home on a daily basis, it costs too much money and time.

She went to Julius' house, knocked on the door to break the bad news "Hey Harls, what's up?" Harleen was shy "Hey, can I come in?" "Sure yeah of course." Harleen went inside and sat on the living room chair Julius went by the kitchen "Want anything? Water? Juice?"

Harleen declined "Nothing im fine. I just wanna talk." Julius walked down near her, "Ohhh, what talk. Is it 'that' talk?" Harleen laughed "What do you mean by 'that' talk?" Julius chuckled "Nothing nothing, so what is this about?"

Harleen sighed and let it out "I need to move to a dorm in Metropolis state, which means I can't come back here as often as I can." Julius laughed "That's it? It's fine, hey do whatever you gotta do to get your dream. Okay?" Harleen smiled "I love you, Julius." Julius held her cheek and kissed her "I love myself too." then bumped her head and ran off.

"Hey! Come back here!" Harleen then ran after him and they laughed and played about.

After a while they sat back and watched a movie, and Julius' phone rang, "It's dad. Excuse me." he went out and answered it Harleen couldn't hear the conversation but based on what Julius' tones were while speaking he was furious, but Harleen didn't bother to butt in which she thought was rude even as his girlfriend.

After the heated argument with his father Julius came back inside, Harleen played with his hair as he sat down on the couch "Everything okay?" Julius snugged in with Harleen "Everything's great, nothing to worry about." Harleen insisted "Are you sure?" "Yes, i'm sure."

They continued the movie after a few more hours pass, Harleen decided to go home. As she went home she was thinking about what to pack, what to bring and not to bring.

She went inside her apartment and planned ahead, she still has a few days before she moves to Metropolis so she needs to use her time wisely.

She went by all her favorite places, the library, the cafes, the restaurant. But at the end of it all, she went by her parents' graves, to say goodbye. "Mom, Dad, I'll be in Metropolis for a while. I'll make sure to come back here and talk to you guys when I can. I love you both, I wish you were really here with me. I want to see your smiles as I go away knowing you both are proud of me. Well, take care of each other." She put down a bouquet of flowers by their tombstones and went back home.

She was depressed, she didn't have the strength to pack yet so she lied down on her bed, staring the ceiling thinking life would've been better. Sure she had a secure future but she was scared and alone with no family, only Julius.
