THANK YOU FOR CONTINUING TO READ MY STORY, EVERYONE! ENJOY. . .
*******
A year has come to pass, the flowers that once bloomed wilted as the colder season swept in, delighting a certain white haired twin from a certain family and a certain pair.
"Zach! It's snowing!" The white haired girl yelled with excitement as she threw open the windows of their warm room, letting the cold breeze sweep in, and petit snowflakes land upon her long hair, "aren't you happy?" She then asked her less enthusiastic counterpart who sat at the desk the girl rarely used, muttering a few spells and lightly coughing at the dust particles wafted into the air by the turn of these ancient pages.
"What's there to be excited about? It's not like you're Thalia. You've seen snow before and close the window. You don't want to catch a cold, sis." The boy reprimanded sternly before fluidly turning in his chair to stretch out his stiff muscles and striding over to slam the window shut, "Bianca," he noted, exasperated that she hadn't even picked up a book to study yet, "the exam for magic studies is tomorrow. I know you passed physics with flying colors but you can't depend on your body or your high IQ to get through magic. Even I am studying although I am therefore regarded as quote you "smartest brainiac". I suggest you do something with your free time other than staring out the window."
Bianca huffed, "Fine, then I'll do something with my free time other than staring out the window, just you watch!" She retorted before darting out the door without bothering to close it.
Meanwhile, an unamused Zach sighed before going to close the entrance, "why do I have a feeling that I should feel bad for Thalia?"
...
I sat there, having a staring contest with a book.
I know, I know, books don't have eyes in the real world but somehow this one does.
A pair of glaring cerulean orbs gazed back at me unblinkingly.
I tried everything from sprinkling dust on it to poking a stick into its eyes but nothing worked to make it speak. It has a mouth, a fat ever grinning useless mouth located underneath the orbs just smirked at me, enjoying my torment."Speak!" I commanded the book, frustration getting on my last nerves.
Now, for thee who shall be wondering, 'why doesn't this idiot just open the book and read it?'
One, the book doesn't have pages. Crazy, right? It has this creepy face ordering it around and by face, I mean a pair of eyes and a mouth. No nose. Sadly. Two, don't call me an idiot you freaks, I learned how to speak when I was just born. Not going to mention the fact that I was reincarnated. Nope. Not at all.
Three, the books I've seen Zach read were all made of holograms, similar to out self appraisal screens. Only the cat call these screens Gamen but no one really understood me if I say that. I learned it the hard way.
Anyways, getting off topic here, I have zero mana power. Let me repeat, I have no mana power. I doubt I even have magic running through my veins.
It shocked me quite a bit too, I thought all reincarnated people were supposed to be super OP when they got reincarnated to another realm or soon become super OP. I've been waiting for a year and it took me all last month to get over the fact I'm not going to use magic.
What's the point of living in a world that depends on magic then?Wait.
I snapped out of my disappointing thoughts of not having cheats when I remembered something.
"Zach could help me find books with normal pages!" Now, the books that have holograms are dubbed normal in this world. It's simple, like opening your phone to such things like Wattpad, flipping through mangas and reading novels. It's normal.
A real book in this world is as hard to find as a four leaf clover in clover season. And I'm not even sure if clover season exists or not.
