The song starts to come to an end so I grabbed Djs' hand and we started to leave. We found and Ihop across the street and sat in a both. I looked at the cute boy sitting across from me. I wondered how people found brown eyes boring whenever a car drove by and shone a light in his face his eyes turned into a completely different color and it was amazing. After a couple minutes of us being silent, someone came by and we both ordered pancakes and a chocolate milkshake.

"So," he said. Then looked up and asked "20 questions?"

"Sure" I replied

"Grade"

"12th you?"

"Same favorite band"

"Muse"

"Mine too the best date you've ever had"

"If we're being totally honest this is the closest I've ever been to one even though I wouldn't count this as one"

"It isn't?"

"If we ever go on one it would be better than this trust me. What would your perfect date be"

"Going to a diner with a guy I truly care about care about a walk on the beach watching Netflix until we fall asleep on the couch together. I'm going to be cliche whats your favorite color?"

"The color of your eyes"

"Why browns a boring color?"

"That's your question their sir and your eyes are beautiful its like everytime a light shines through them they become a whole new shade and it's beautiful it's like a light shining through a glass of whiskey absolutely beautiful and belongs to a beautiful person." I saw tears building up in his eyes so I shifted over to the spot next to him and wiped a tear off right under his mask where it slowly made its way to. I didn't notice the waiter dropped off our order so I slid back over to my spot and started eating while we continued our conversation.

"Whats your biggest secret"

"The real answer or do you want the fake one"

"Real of course"

"Both of my parents" I started crying the ugly kind so the waiter came up and said the meals on him. Dj walked me out of the restaurant to the road across from the school and sat me down on the bench with his arms around me as I continued " My dad was really sick he had cancer and while they were flying back from his treatment the plane crashed them and" I stopped for a second letting out a sob from that and the fact Dj may never want to talk to him again." Both of them my brother died  in the crash my sister was only 5 stayed home with me that was only 7 months ago it's just her and I we moved to a smaller apartment they were kinda rich but I want the money to last in the long run."

Dj looked me in the eyes his tearing up and hugged me while I hugged him back. We walked back to the school hand in hand holding on tight as Bohemian Rhapsody played both off us singing along and jumping until someone from the yearbook got a couple pictures of us doing that and then of us standing together and then I asked him to take one on my phone as I kissed his soft and slightly chapped lips and I could feel him smiling into it I thanked the guys and handed him a 5 dollar bill.

Time skip to the party after because I'm lazy

Dans POV

The house of the person throwing the party had a garden outside so we walked out and stared at the stars I heard Styrker speak up but asked him to repeat it since it was hard to hear

"I have to go the babysitter has to leave at midnight and I don't want you to know where I live so goodbye" he stood up and we kissed for what seemed like years but also only a few seconds even though it was only two minutes. He waved to me and I prayed to every God I could think of to let me see this boy again.
