I walked into the gym where our school Lakewood was holding our annual seniors only mascarade ball which of course was crashed by all the younger kids also. My brother dragged me here because he enjoyed his. But of course, Adrian is a nosy fuck and is chaperoning since he graduated last year.
"Come on Dan mom and dad met at their mascarade ball you might meet someone" he whined while pushing me through the door as I pulled down my mask to cover my face hoping no one recognizes who I am.
Ade(As I call him) makes is way over to a guy I know that graduated last year and leaves me alone in the corner I can tell they're talking about me because he points to me.
I feel someone walk up behind me and mumbles "Hey"
"Hello" I reply I turn around and am greeted by a pair of the most beautiful blue eyes on earth while the rest of his face is covered by a mask and the mop of black hair on his head. He starts to speak up

"Oh, you do, do you?" I say as a smirk dancing on my lips.

I let out a small laugh and in an amused tone ask "What if we fall in love like in a chick flick"
He looks me dead in the eye and says "if it's meant to be its meant to be"then lets out an adorable giggle.
I look down for a second contemplating his offer okay then-" I reach out my hand waiting for him to say what I should call him.
He perks up his shoulders one at a time in an attempt to look taller that makes me burst out laughing and then saying in a deep voice shaking my hand and says "you may call me Stryker and you are?"
"Dj"
"Okay Dj he says to me" he pauses then adds "how about this" he gets cut off by Elvis Presleys voice singing

Stryker continues "Let me have this dance then we bail to a restaurant for a while then come back the dance ends at 11 it's only 8 then we head out to Kendall's party"
Before I answer he takes my hand then we start to slow dance "Why do you lead" I groan looking into his eyes even though he is only 3 inches taller.
He lets out another adorable giggle then starts singing along into my ear he was an amazing singer but his voice was raw like he smokes a lot but he doesn't smell like he does.
