I have seen so much hate going to Julie Plec after the finale episode of TO aired. The top comment on her last post on Instagram is literally "Burn in hell with Katherine". Instead of trashing Julie Plec for giving us an emotional finale, why don't we thank her for giving us this show in the first place? She was able to create fictional characters which we fell so madly in love with, that losing them in this fictional universe physically hurt. The journey of Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson began in The Vampire Diaries when Elijah was plotting to murder Klaus and he literally had his hand around Klaus heart at one point. These characters have come so far and have gone through hell and back together. They have lived at least 12 lifetimes, they have seen empires rise and fall, they have caused pain and suffering to those around them and to each other. this journey began with the brothers and it was fitting for it to end with the brothers as well. Whether they found peace or not, at least they have each other. So, thank you Julie Plec for taking us on this wonderful roller coaster of a journey. It's been a glorious ride, though legends never die #alwaysandforever
