Potions with the twins

The next day, after breakfast all gryffindors went to the ROR to wait for the slytherins.

"Do we really have to wait for them? We don't need them anymore." Ron whined

"Ronniekins, we made a promise to wait for them, whoever organized this hunt is right, we need to start trusting them and being kind, we can't just hate them because they are in slytherin. What if they were a group of very cute girls, would you ditch them just because they are in slytherin?" Fred said throwing a wink to Harry. Harry started to get worried, did Fred know something?

" But this is Malfoy we're talking about, not any cute girls."
" If you want I can transform myself in a cute girl you know" a voice suddenly said behind them. Draco took out his wand and cast a glamour spell on himself, suddenly his hair was longer and his face was more feminine. "Better? May i join the hunt now?" He asked with a high pitched voice. Everyone except Ron started to laugh, Ron was just shocked in place wich made the group laugh even more.

When everyone was finished laughing they started to talk about the clue.
"George and I talked about it yesterday" "What if we have to perfect" "the candy again?" "to make it work" the twins said.
"But if it turns us into the person we love, shouldn't we already know who is is, so how is that going to help us?" Hermione asked.
They argued for a while, not finding the right answer. Draco started to get irritated. Their minds really worked in a weird way.
"Maybe we will find the next clue in the missing ingredient." He said.

"That's brilliant, Draco" Fred and George said together. They put their arms around his shoulder and said: " you would make an amazing partner in crime "and an amazing boyfriend for little Harry" they added just for Draco to hear. For a fraction of a second Draco lost his posture and blushed hard. He quickly regained his composure before anyone saw it, anyone that is except the twins.
Because Draco and the twins were the best at potions, the three of them went to the potions lab to figure out the right blend for their candy.

While they were busy working the rest of the group went outside to enjoy the autumn sun. The leaves had just started to change colors but it was still warm outside. Crabbe and Goyle had gone back to their dorm but Blaise stayed with the group. It was a bit awkward in the beginning but when Blaise announced he was good at chess Ron challenged him to a game to see if he really was as good as he said. They played for hours, at the end of the morning the game was still going on. The whole group was watching them play, they even made bets as to who would win the game. Dean Neville and Ginny were betting on Blaise, seamus was betting on Ron. Hermione said she never gambled but secretly she was betting on Ron too. Harry was also remaining neutral, he didn't want to anger his friend, since he saw Blaise was winning.

At the same time Draco and the twins were working hard looking for the last ingredient. The twins didn't want to miss that opportunity to ask Draco some questions about his crush on Harry.
"Now spill it Draco, how long have you liked him" Fred asked mischievously.
"Liked who? " Draco tried, he really didn't know what Harry had told them.
"Harry of course, we see how you stare at him when you think no one is watching."
"I don't stare" Draco pouted.
"No of course not" George said. "And Harry doesn't either."

When Draco didn't react to that Fred almost knocked down the cauldron with potion.
"Omg, I knew it" he shouted. "How long have you two been dating?"
"Careful, you're going to spill the potion." Draco said steadying the cauldron. He saw he wasn't going to be able to get out of it so he started to tell the story.
"Do you remember the rumors about me and Harry a week ago?"
"The once where you two eloped and got married? Or the one where you to were betrothed from birth?"
"Yeah those"
"wait married really? How was that even possible, we never left school"
"You two were nowhere to be found for a few hours, who knew what happened to you two. People start to talk."

"How many of these rumors were started by you two?" Draco asked with a look on his face Snape would be proud of.
Fred's hand went to his chest. "You wound us, Draco, to think we would do such a thing"
Draco kept looking at them with a scary stern look.
"Ok we may have been the source of one or two rumors"
When Draco still didn't lose the look they caved.
"Fine, maybe ten"

Draco sighted "Well that day in class we were brewing amortentia. I was to late so I didn't know what it was. I made a comment saying the whole classroom smelled like Harry. Everyone was shocked, Harry fled the room and I fled quickly afterwards. We both had the same idea because before we knew it we were both in the room of requirement. That is when we talked and realised we both liked each other. This treasure hunt is to make our friends see gryffindor and slytherin can be friends and maybe the other houses too."

"Wait so you two started the hunt? I knew you two had some mischief blood in you but this is a next level, it's brilliant." The twins both had a chestersmile on their faces."But wait, if you two made the hunt then you know all the clues, you know what ingredient we have to use." the twins said excited.

Draco looked down. "Sadly no, we didn't make the hunt only started it. You see there is a spell you can use to start a hunt and say how you want it to stop but no one except the castle knows the answers of the clues."

Fred and George were suddenly so excited. "Where did you find that spell?" "It's just so mischievous, so -" "so-" "marauders" they were talking so fast Draco couldn't say who said what. Except the last word, they had said it together. Draco smirked, he knew the twins worshiped the marauders but still didn't know who they really were.
"That's normal, he said, that's because it was made by the marauders one of them passed it on to his son who gave it to us."

On the twins faces were many different emotions. Shock, disbelieve, excitement, joy, mischief. They trapped Draco between the wall and started to ask many questions.
"What do you know about the marauders"
"Do you know who they are?"
" Are you the son of a marauder?"
" Are they still alive?"
"We wanna know everything."
"Guys , guys, relax" Draco tried to free himself from between the twins. When they had calmed down he said:
" I'm not allowed to tell you guys anything, no I'm not the son of a marauder but he is here at Hogwarts. Sadly only one marauder is still alive today but that is all i can tell you guys, he made me promise not to say anything else."
"Ok, just one last question then, have we ever met the last marauders and if so which one?"
Draco thought for a moment, he could say that, that wasn't going to reveal anything was it?
He took a deep breath and said.
"Yes you have met him, moony I think he is called. But that is all I will say, please stop asking questions. Let's go back to the potion."

They went back to the potion but they still hadn't found the right ingredient for their potion. Suddenly something struck Fred. "If the castle made the hunt maybe it is close related to your relationship." Both Draco and Fred looked up at him with question marks written all over their face.
"Don't you see it, your relationship began with Amortentia, what if that is the missing ingredient? "

"It's true we haven't tried that one, but it's locked in Snape's private stock" Draco said.
Fred and George looked at each other mischievously. "Not all of it."
