Cursed Hogwarts?

Harry stayed very calm on the outside, but he knew his magic could flair up at any time so before he did anything else he took a moment to calm down enough to have back full control over his magic. 

Ron mistaking his silence as a sign of defeat added another layer. "That's what I thought, you're just like the rest of them, a scared little death eater ready to go into hiding when things gets to real." 

The rest of the group who had seen the signs of Harry's magic flairing up had backed away and were holding a strong group protego around Harry that they had learned from Sirius for when the magic would really let go. 

As predicted they suddenly felt a very strong force hid their shields, Harry had lost all control of his emotions and his magic. The magic was so strong and pure that the shields were cracking making it very dangerous for not only Harry but also everybody in the great Hall. 

The teachers who had been keeping an eye on the group from the moment Ron had started to insult them realized the shield was going to break at any moment so they joined in with the shield. Even with all the teachers trying to protect Harry and the other students, the shield was stil cracking so one by one the students also joined in.

Some stayed behind to teach the younger students the spell so they could also join. Any raw magic was very powerful and usually needed many wizards to tame it, but Harry's was exceptionally strong. Only when almost all students had joined the shield, did it stop cracking up. 

They held the shield for another 10 minutes until Harry collapsed from exhaustion. The moment he collapsed there was one more blast of magic before it went back into his body. Harry's magic was so strong during his outbreak that the candy had also lost the effect so he was looking like himself again. 

Draco was the first to move, letting go of the shield and running over towards Harry to see if he was ok. He checked if Harry was still breathing before lifting him up to carrying him to the infirmary followed by madam Pomfrey, Snape and McGonagall. The rest of the teachers stayed behind to see if anyone else was injured or exhausted.

They found Ron in a little corner white as a ghost trying to hide away like a scared little spider. After giving him his punishment ( detention with Filch every weekend until the end of the year and no more hogsmeade weekends) they send him to the infirmary as well to get a pepper up potion. 

In the infirmary Harry lay unconscious on the bed, Draco holding his hand, Poppy scanning him for injuries. "He's perfectly find, she said, his body is just exhausted from all the magic so all he has to do is sleep it of. If you want I will let you know when he wakes up." 

Draco looked at her with sad eyes. "Can't I just stay here with him? I won't disturb you I promise." knowing they didn't have any classes anymore she let it be and left to treat the other students who were injured.

Harry woke up late that evening and was send to his dorm to sleep some more before the next day. Not wanting to be separated Draco and Harry went to the ROR to sleep. Although they were not prepared to see what was there. 

In front of them was a very new dormroom in the four colors of hogwarts full of beds. Every bed had one color showing from which house the student sleeping in it was from. By the looks of it almost the whole student body was there. In the far end they saw some people stil awake talking quietly by the fire.

Arriving there they saw it was Fred, Hermione, Blaise, Dean and Ginny. They had taken it upon themself to watch over everybody. They greeted the two newcomers before explaining what had happened. 

"The moment the whole school worked together on the shield it felt like some kind of spell was lifted, a spell that prevented us to have house unity. From then on no-one had the feeling they had to discriminate all the other houses and they continued to work together. Since there were no classes we all got to know the other houses, first all the years got to know each other apart but after a while even the years were mixed and we all had a schoolwide snowball fight. It was really epic, even the teachers participated. At one point the whole school again chose unity and attacked the teachers all at one. It was hilarious, Snape covered in white snow." explained Fred excitedly. 

Before Harry or Draco could say anything he added: "Don't worry we took lots of pictures." satisfied they continued to talk some more about the day but soon Harry grew tired so he and Draco went to sleep, anxious for the holidays that would start the next day.  

A/N Here you go, the next chapter. I was going to finish here but I think I might do a Christmas chapter. I hope you liked it.
