It was official - Mira was ticked off after listening to Murphy's complaints, to Bellamy's dick attitude and Wells' lost puppy type of vibe. The only one who hadn't pissed her off yet was Clarke and that was because the girl was too far ahead for Mira to witness any of her annoying habits. Mira was purely focused on not tripping over the vast amount foliage that covered the ground beneath them - it was a death trap.
"Hey, hold up. Where's the rush?" Bellamy sarcastically stated grabbing Clarke's wrist glancing at the transmitter that still stood proud not noticing Mira's that was still secured to her no doubt if he had he would be after Mira's just as much as Clarke's, he continued despite hearing Mira's jagged breathing indicating clearly she wanted nothing more but to continue the walk not the conversation "You don't survive a spear through the heart."
"Jasper screamed when they moved him," Clarke stated confidently she knew what she was doing. Mira thought about the facts they already knew; why would a grounder take a dead body unless it wasn't dead? Clarke continued with what everyone was thinking, "If the spear struck his heart, he would've died instantly. Doesn't mean we have time to waste."
Of course Bellamy decides with that depressing note it's the perfect time to antagonize Clarke even further, motioning towards her bracelet he smirks before opening his big mouth, " As soon as you take the wristband off we can go." Of course Bellamy's words backfire on him how could they not? Mira rolled her eyes slightly pushing Bellamy so he could loosen his grip on Clarke's wristband.
"The only way the Arc is going to think I'm dead is if I'm dead, got it?" Clarke spat out through clenched teeth, seething in anger at the thought of Bellamy being so inconsiderate of the family people have on the Arc. Mira cheered at Clarke's comeback only to avoid eye contact with Bellamy and Murphy as they glared down at her for supporting the opposition but who said she was on their side in the first place.
"Brave princess." Bellamy muttered using the nickname Finn had created for the privileged girl; the thing was Mira reckoned Bellamy and Clarke could become fast friends if Bellamy forgot about the Arc's hierarchy but the Arc's privileged have been belittling the working class for so long it was hard to forget. This divide the 100 had would be what ended them, they had to forget about the Ark and they had to do it fast because this vendetta wouldn't last long, not down here anyway.
"Hey! Find your own nickname," Finn called out coming from the direction of camp, immediately three things happened; Bellamy dropped his grip on Clarke, Clarke inched closer to Finn and more shockingly Murphy moved closer to Mira who in turn rolled her eyes slightly pushing Murphy away from her - she could not stand the guy that much was clear to anyone. "You call this a rescue party? You've got to split up - cover more ground. Clarke you're with me"
The duo headed towards the high ground path, leaving everyone else behind to sort themselves out. With a calculated look Murphy pushed Mira towards Bellamy and motioned for Wells to follow him. That was not subtle at all Mira thought before turning to look at Bellamy - it was just them two left so by default it looked as though they were paired up. No one moved a muscle until Bellamy broke the silence with that patronising smirk Mira became so used to, "Come on little dove, it's just us now."
