The look on Bellamy's face when he gripped the seatbelt hard enough to turn his knuckles white was enough to make Mira's knees quiver. Despite the fact that her shoulder protested with every move she made, it didn't stop her from standing up to Bellamy and any of his little goons.
"Drop it," Mira stated calmly taking deep breathes to calm the surging anger she felt. The exchanged glance between Bellamy and Clarke held a silent conversation on how to handle the girl which only infuriated her more as she let out a small scream. Octavia gently took her hand and led her to the back of the dropship away from the drama.
"He want's Finn to die, why can't you see that?" Bellamy stressed shifting his gaze from Mira to Octavia to get his point across. It had reached the point where Mira could no longer look at Bellamy without resisting the urge to damage her shoulder further and take a swing at him. "Look, do you want him to live or not?"
A small gasp left Octavia's parted lips as she took in her brother's manipulative words, "Clarke, you saw how he helped Mira's shoulder, he protected me - he saved my life." Realising the fact that the grounder saved her life wasn't going to save his, she made it personal. "You said it yourself, this is not who we are."
Clarke glanced at Bellamy, who's face held nothing but anger, to Octavia, who was silently conversing with Mira. "Do it." Clarke said her jaw locked in place as she refused to meet anyone's eyes. Bellamy grabbed the knife Mira had made him not many nights before a ripped his shirt open, he had only turned his back for one moment to grab the seatbelt only to see an obstacle in the way of his prey.
"Mira, get out of the way." He demanded while his sister begged the grounder to reveal the antidote before the situation escalated. Mira simply stared at his defiantly until Miller had sneaked up on her and dragged her out the line of fire, keeping a secure but comfortable grip on her due to the look Bellamy had thrown his way.
Bellamy's lashings were relentless, constantly lashing down on the grounder in between Clarke's begging. It was clear the grounder wasn't going to say anything as he took the beatings silently, much to Mira's dismay who could no longer witness the event and had long since buried her head into Miller's shoulder. "Enough!" Came Octavia's shrill shout as she saw her best friend distressed.
However, that didn't stop Bellamy as Raven's quick shout of Finn's condition only gave him incentive to continue - for Finn. "We're running out of time," Clarke muttered loud enough for members of the 100 to hear before turning to face the grounder, "Which one? Which one is it? If you tell us they'll stop! Please, tell us which is the antidote and they'll stop this!"
"If that doesn't work, maybe this will." He stated dropping the seatbelt and picking up the knife that Mira had trusted him with. He glanced to Clarke's white face as she realised what comes next to Mira's shaking body restrained by Miller although at this point it seemed as though Miller was providing more comfort than restraint. "Miller, get her out of here, Clarke you don't have to be here for this."
Clarke quickly shut down Bellamy's offer, while Miller started to make his way to the dropship ladder. "No.", Mira stated calm as day silent tears dripping down her face, drawing all eyes to her as she struggled out of Miller's grasp. She kicked out causing the knife in Bellamy's hand to clatter out, "You are not using my knife, not for this."
Bellamy sighed, dragging a hand down his face, picking up a rusted piece of metal instead. "Seriously Mira, go down I don't want you to see this." Bellamy stated as everyone knew there was no way to get Mira down the stairs without hurting her further. Mira shook her head causing strands of her white blond hair stick to her tear stricken face - she looked like a right mess but quite frankly she didn't care.
Bellamy turned to the grounder giving him one last chance to come clean about the antidote before slamming the metal straight through his hand causing for Octavia to turn her head and Mira to cover her mouth and she refused to throw up over the dropship floor.
"What's taking so long?" Raven questioned as she made her way up the ladder, "He stopped breathing." Clarke had clearly started to panic before Raven shut her down again, "He started again, but next time he might not." Raven took a quick survey of the scene before her, furrowing her eyes when she saw the metal dug through his hand.
"He won't tell us anything." Clarke seethed out clearly unaffected by the events unlike Mira who had been lowered to the ground by Miller and had now curled up into a small ball with her head between her knees as Miller gently rubbed her back. Her mind was desperately trying to find a way for the grounder to survive as well as Finn but she was in no state to find a solution.
"Wanna bet?" Raven urged as she grabbed the wires from the walls, both sparking with electricity as she lined them up to the grounder. She stops the questions fired at her as teased the grounder before holding the wires to his skin effectively electrocuting him, "Time to show you something new." She repeats her new torture method several time, causing the room to smell of burnt flesh, "Which one is it?" She screamed and when she was met with silence she shocked him again, "He's all I have."
"NO!" Octavia screamed out as she grabbed the knife that Clarke had brought up with her and sliced her arm with it letting the poison flow into her bloodstream, causing the grounder, her brother and Mira look at her in alarm. Mira crawled her way to where Octavia was sitting in front of the vials and presented them to the grounder until they received the nod of his head. "Thanks."
Octavia grabbed the antidote, taking a small sip before handing the rest of the vial to Clarke who promptly rushed out with Raven on her trail. Bellamy reached out to check on her sister who sat staring at the grounder intently before Octavia snapped, "Don't touch me." She left the dropship without looking at the hurt expression she left on her brother's face.
It was just Bellamy, the grounder, Miller and Mira left on the third floor now. Mira had her eyes firmly shut as she leant against the dropship wall, Bellamy taking a seat right next to her. "I'm sorry you had to see that." He was sincere when he said but that didn't stop Mira from scoffing when she heard his apology.
"It's not me you should be apologising to, it's him." Mira nodded at the grounder who had gone through hell on the third floor and she could do nothing to stop it. Her hands wouldn't stop twitching as she desperately needed to say something to Bellamy, "Look who we are, and who we need to be to survive are two different people," she started taking a quick glance at Bellamy, "But what you did just, that's a whole 'nother level, you don't go back from it."
It was one of those times where Mira was right - she always was. Bellamy's actions would follow him for a long time and there's no escape from them not after what he did. Miller exchanged a glance with Bellamy as Mira wiped her bloodshot eyes free of tears. "Just get me out of here." She whispered to Bellamy, knowing she would never be able to get down the unstable ladder with one working arm.
"Anything for you, little dove." Bellamy murmured before scooping her into his arms, allowing her to wrap her arm around his neck for support, while his left hand went underneath her legs that were wrapped around his waist. Slowly, he started the descent down the ladder with his right hand, gaining a lot of curious looks from the rest of the 100.
When they got to the bottom of the dropship, Mira didn't let go, she simply commanded him to take her to her tent. Bellamy being her bitch complied. The trees covered her tent from the storm and had maintained it's structure throughout their refuge in the dropship. Bellamy set down Mira in her tent and disappeared without another word. It was in her time alone did she let out all the emotions she had kept inside since they landed on Earth.
A bag landed on her bed, not just any bag but her bag. Bellamy's chocolate brown eyes stared at her before he embraced her into a hug while she sobbed herself to sleep. Noticing the petite girls laboured breathing he took the fur blanket from the top of her bag and gently placed it on top of her leaving her to get a much needed rest while he sorted out the carnage the storm left.
