"Octavia." Mira whispered from her position leant up against the wall, she had only woken up minutes before and was now trying to awake Octavia due to the fact they were imprisoned in a desolate cave. The slight turn of Octavia's body cause Mira to continue her feeble attempts to wake her up. "Octavia please, I don't know when he's coming back."

"Mira? Where are we?" Octavia questioned in a pained whisper, her knee was prone to infection in the cave and Mira's shoulder was clearly out of place, no way in hell were the two of them going to escape the cave at least not in their conditions. Sudden footsteps towards the entrance of the cave caused Mira to scoot closer to Octavia as a means as to protect the barely conscious girl.

The strange man approached with a glowing sword approaching the two girls huddled together, he ignored their pleads for him to stop - recognizing what he was going to do. Mira held onto Octavia's hand anticipating the immense pain Octavia would be going through. When the sword made contact with her knee, Mira's hand was squeezed to the point of breaking and Octavia's voice became hoarse from the bloodcurdling scream she let out.

It must've been seconds that sword was pressed firmly against her knee until Octavia could no longer take it and fainted to the smell of burning flesh and excruciating pain. Mira kept her hold on Octavia's hand while the man made his way over to Mira, dropping his sword as he approached. He placed a strong hand on the side of her neck while he quickly snapped the girls shoulder back into place, Mira had tears of agony streaming down her face, she couldn't even get a thanks out.

The grounder gave a small nod to Mira, gazed at Octavia a few seconds too long before picking up his fallen sword and striding out the cave. All Mira could do was stare blankly at the cave walls surveying any potential escape while gently brushing Octavia's hair with her right hand. Mira gasped when she caught sight of a small stream of moonlight, meaning their was an opening.

"He fixed it?" Octavia's frail voice called out causing for Mira to turn to her in a rushed manor only to wince when her shoulder tweaked slightly, she wasn't going to be able to go anywhere with her shoulder acting up like this especially if it involved climbing. Mira stood up and gave her right hand out to Octavia in order to hoist her up so Mira could show her the opening she spotted it.

"He sort of fixed my shoulder too," Mira murmured not wanting for the grounder to come back while they planned an escape, Mira gestured to the Moonlight and started to slowly dig the tunnel a bit wider with her one hand, it was only when Octavia got the gist of what Mira was trying to do did she join it. "I don't know where it leads, but I can't come with you."

This caused Octavia to stop digging and turn around to her friend, her eyes watering at the mere thought of leaving her best friend behind, Octavia started to shake her head at a rapid pace she wasn't going to along with that plan - no way in hell. Octavia grabbed Mira's hand in attempt to comfort both herself and Mira "I'm not leaving you behind, I promise you."
