4 months later

a lot has happened in four months, from jisung moving in to jaemin's work place so that he was able to keep an eye on jaemin and renjun 24/7, to having four new inmates in the WU (which surprisingly were all girls much to jisung's dislike). jisung sighed for the umpteenth time when he saw miya flirting with jaemin and junghwa flirting with renjun.

"i am very annoyed with all the flirting so can we please wrap this shit up and go home?!" jisung blared, his voice loud and clear. "okay, i'm so sick of it too." jaemin scoffed and sends a glare at miya before walking to jisung. "i wish jeno was here, they wouldn't dare flirt with me!" renjun groaned in annoyance before he started to arrange the files on his desk.

"hurry please, they are scarying me." jisung whispered behind jaemin's back and the lad laughed aloud. "shhh, you're gonna catch their attention!" jisung whispered-shouted and before clasping his hand over jaemin's mouth. "you guys are funny." they heard their ash-grey haired hyung spoke.

"hello! jungwoo hyung! how're you doing?" jisung exclaims and pulls his hand away from jaemin's mouth, "i'm good, taeyong and jae hyung called the three of you to his office." jungwoo, taeyong's secretary says with a calm voice. "okay?" renjun says with a questioning tone.

"you know the new inmates that constantly flirt with you right?" taeyong asked with a smug smile, jaemin and renjun simultaneously groaned while jisung laughs. they nodded and taeyong continued. "they said they saw jeno around the streets where coffeeland is, but weren't sure cause the he had pastel pink hair?" taeyong states, it sounded like a questions to the three boys standing infront of his table.

"aren't you and the rest of dream going there tonight?" jaehyun asked and jaemin nodded, "we'll go check it out." jaemin replied with a smile. "be sure to invite him to our anniversary. i wanna meet him again." taeyong declared before the three boys walked out his office door. "jeno's back?!" renjun shouted and forcefully shook jisung's arm.

jaemin laughed at his two friends before looking at jisung for the answer, "seems like not only renjun is missing him, hmm?" jaemin looked away immediately with a blush on his cheeks. "renjun stop! it hurts!" jisung looks over at renjun who pulled away, blushing.

"y'all need to stop flirting." jaemin states.

"you need to stop letting miya flirt with you then." jisung retorted back with a smug smile. "jaemin, you need to stop flirting with everyone!" renjun cuts in and glares at jaemin. "everyone as in jisung right?" jaemin corrected and snickered at renjun red face. "stop it!" the older whined and looked away.

"i'm so done with your shits, when will jeno come back i can't take it anymore!" jisung screamed and both jaemin and renjun laughed.

the group of friends were sitting at one of the big tables in the coffee shop when mark announced something, "jeno's coming over right now and y'all won't believe how much a he's change!" donghyuck looked at his boyfriend in a judging manner before deciding to completely ignore him.

"he should be here soon." donghyuck mentioned and looked st the windows of the coffee shop. as if on cue jeno appear infront of the doors of the coffee shop. he ruffled his pastel pink hair and started to look around the shop in search of his group of friends.

"YAH! JENO-AH, YOU'RE MY SAVIOUR!" jisung shouted- no, screamed and got out of his seat only to run towards jeno at full speed. once jeno was in reach, jisung wrapped his arms around jeno and pulled him into a very tight hug. jeno laughed aloud and engulfed jisung in his arms.

jisung began to dramatically sob into jeno's shoulder, "oh my god, stop you're embarrassing me!" jeno shouted but continued to laugh anyways. "what happened?" jeno asked in between laughs and softly pushes jisung away. "well, come over to the table first, and you look hot by the way." jisung winked and jeno secretly gags before being pulled by the wrist.

"care to tell me what's going on?" jeno began and leaned back in his chair. "four new work related inmates and they're all girls, much to jisung's dislike." renjun whispered the last part and jeno snorted. "two of them are flirting with jaemin and renjun 24/7! i'm so sick of it!" jisung shouted and gasped dramatically.

"tell me more." jeno said.

"we have a anniversary party on june 3rd, taeyong hyung wants you to join." chenle states and stirred his drink. "oh, i dunno... i might have something else." jeno looked away from his group of friends, specifically away from jaemin who frowned... he knew exactly what that "something else" is. "come on, the girls will keep flirting and it's annoying, we're all gay right?" donghyuck inquires and sends jaemin a goofy smile.

"i'm queer..." jeno mumbled with a blush.

"and i'm straight." chenle softly said.

"are you fucking serious?" donghyuck spat with his brows furrowed. jeno and chenle nodded and fiddled with their fingers. "jeno... please come." jaemin spoke up in the silence, jeno turned to look at jaemin with his eyes widen. "okay... sure." jeno smiled, jaemin smiled.

"you'll come right?" jaemin asked jeno, they were both outside the coffee shop and standing by jeno's motorbike. "yeah, i guess... why are you being so nice?" jeno asked before pulling out the box of cigarettes in his pocket. "oh, so you're smoking now too? not just drinking huh?" jeno nodded and lit is his cigarette up with a lighter.

"it helps calms me down sometimes..." the older whispered before putting it to his lips, he inhaled slowly and pulled the cigarette out. exhaling, the smoke came out of his lips and jaemin found his heart beating inside his chest uncontrollably. "you haven't answered my question." jeno stated and looked at jaemin.

jaemin stared at the older's eye that shined brightly in the dim lit sky. "your eyes look beautiful..." jaemin's voice trailed off into a whisper and jeno blushed. "i guess i just miss you... i remembered texting you saying that i'm sorry and that i miss you, but you never replied..." jaemin crouched down when he finished his sentence.

"really? well..." jeno crouched down beside jaemin and smiled, "i miss you too..." jeno whispered and jaemin smiled and looked at his old friend. "can we just... be friends again?" the younger asked and watched as jeno crushed the cigarette on the floor, "sure, i wanna start over... i'm sorry for what i've done to you, it was so unprofessional of me."

"bro, everything you do is unprofessional."

"YAH, SHUT UP!" jeno shouted.

"see? that's unprofessional." jaemin smirked at his friends behaviour.
