"i'm sick of being alone."

movie nights aren't always the worst but this time jaemin didn't enjoy the movie unlike his three friends. sitting on the right side of the couch jaemin pulled his knees closer to his body and ducked his head between the gap, he was shaking either because of the cold or the horror movie. he peek up a little only to close his eyes shut when there was a jump-scare, letting out a soft yelp jaemin leaned towards the closest thing to comfort: jeno.

"jeno..." jaemin called in a soft whispered and poked his hyung's arm, jeno looked over to the younger with a worried look "what's wrong?" he asked in a quiet voice so he doesn't disturb the two males infront of him. "i-i'm sc-scared..." jeno nodded and scoots closer to jaemin so that he can wrap his arm around the younger's body. sighing contentedly jaemin relaxed in jeno's protective arm, he closed his eyes with a smile.

"are you tired?" he heard the older ask and he nodded, "scared too..." he whispered back and he felt jeno pulling away, with a frown he open his eyes to stare at the older who now stood above him. "lets get you to bed." he says while picking the smaller up bridal style, "where're you going nono?" jaemin heard renjun asked as he snuggles his head into the crook of jeno's neck, "to bed."

"don't do anything weird!" jisung exclaims over the noise of the movie, "i would never!" jeno shouted back before walking towards the stairs. once he reached jaemin's bedroom door he twisted the knob and pushed it opened with his shoulder revealing a dimly lit room, "why is jisung like that?" jaemin asked the older who had gently laid him down on the mattress.

"i don't even know, but he's planning something." jeno asserted with the shake of his head, he pulled the blanket over jaemin's body before making his way to the door. jaemin frowned and grabbed jeno's sleeves tugging at them, "please don't go... i'm sick of being alone..." he whispered with a frown and jeno started to worry.

jeno pulled away from jaemin's grasp and walked over to the opened door to close it, on his way back he started to unbutton his suit throwing it somewhere when he was done taking it off. after that followed his belt, he tried to take it off as quiet as possible so the clanking wouldn't disturb jaemin. soon enough he was in bed and under the blankets beside jaemin who immediately huddled closer to jeno's body for warmth.

"thank you." jaemin whispered and jeno hummed in satisfaction, placing his nose in jaemin's messy brown locks he felt sleep taking over his body. "what do you mean by being 'alone'?" jeno mumbled into jaemin's hair his voice filled with concern, "this bed is too big for me and me only, it's so lonely here..." jaemin whispered and jeno could feel the sadness coming from the younger's words.

"yah, don't cry." the older whispered before wrapping his arms around jaemin's waist, pulling the said male closer. "i'm... not crying..." the brunet said in between quiet sobs, his body started to shake. "i never knew i meant so much to you that you'd go to the park every year and 'celebrate' our anniversary all by yourself..." jaemin continued to sobbed. "how'd you know?" the pink-haired male asked in shocked.

"jisung... he told me everything, i'm so so sorry..." jaemin whispered and jeno reached up to wipe the tears away before placing his arm back around the smaller's waist. "it's okay, i'm fine now, we're fine now. i'm right here next to you jaemin." the older pulled away and tried to comfort jaemin but the younger still continued to sob and cry. jeno did what he thought would help calm down the crying male beside him: he tangled his legs in jaemin's shorter ones.

"hey, look at me." the older said and jaemin looks up at his hyung, "that was the past, i'm here now and we can celebrate together again so stop crying, i don't like it when you cry and you know that." jeno stated and jaemin nodded his head slowly before wiping some of the tears away. jeno leaned in closer to jaemin and pecked the younger's forehead.

"now go to sleep, it's late and i'm tired." jeno whispered with his eyes closed as tiredness started to take over.

jaemin smiled and snuggles his head into the older's chest, he felt sleep taking over his body but before he fell asleep he called out jeno's name,

"nono?"

"hmm?"

"i love you, thanks for everything."

"no problem, and i love you too, nana."

jaemin closed his eyes and finally felt happy as he sleeps in the bed that for two years straight made him felt so lonely. he never knew that having jeno back in his life would make such a big difference.

in fits of giggles jisung and renjun tried to silently creep up the staircase so that they wouldn't wake up either jeno or jaemin. stopping in his tracks jisung calls out for renjun who was infront of him, "babe, should we check up on them?" he asked the older who shrugged his shoulders in reply. "you're so helpful." jisung sarcastically states before silently opening the door to jaemin's room.

"why are you acting like you're their parents?" renjun asked his boyfriend who looked so concentrated on trying to make out where the two males were. "i want them to date, and i have to find a way. plus i don't want them to die single yet gay as fuck." renjun suddenly snorts and laughs but instead of laughing with his boyfriend, jisung decides to risk his life and reached in to turn on the lights.

once the lights flickered on jisung started to squeal at the sight infront of him, "yah, renjun come and look! they are so cute." renjun quickly rushes to jisung's side while jisung took out his phone from his pants pocket and snapped some photos. renjun snatched the phone out of jisung's hand, "i'll risk my life for you." he whispered before tip-toeing into the room and towards the end of the bed.

after snapping a couple of pictures renjun dashes our of the room and jisung turns the light off, closing the door afterwards. the silent hall way began to fill with squeals as renjun and jisung scroll through the pictures they took of the two male cuddling. "they are so cute!" renjun whispered-shouted and jisung nodded in agreement.

"they totally should date!"

"i told you! they should!"
