the dark sky freckling with glistening stars somehow lightened up the park that was once dark the day before, as jeno ran pass the park he couldn't help but admire the lake that was glimmering in the dark. he abruptly stopped in his tracks when a sudden flashback came to mind, he turned back to look at the lake and tears started to drip down the corner of his eyes.

he wiped away the tears and continued to run in hopes of forgetting the throbbing pain in his heart. after what felt like hours of running jeno decided to take a cab home, he gave the driver some money but the driver unexpectedly took off without giving jeno back to change. jeno heaved out a sigh of defeat before heading inside.

he lazily took off his shoes infront of the door way and left them there, he aimlessly threw his house keys onto the table near the door not really caring if it landed on the table or not. he trudged his way into the kitchen and to the fridge, opening the fridge he grabbed a bottle of beer and poured himself some.

he walks back into the living room and plopped himself onto the the couch. he took a small sip of the golden liquid and smiled in satisfaction before chugging down the whole drink.

jisung parked his- well.. jeno's- mercedes benz infront of the said boy's house before swiftly getting out of the car, he left the engine on knowing he'll be back out soon. unlocking the house with the spare keys jisung found jeno sprawled on the couch with his feet up on the coffee table and a glass half empty in his hand.

"yah, jeno, we need to go." he started and crossed his arms over his chest, "where? i don't feel like going." jeno grumbled with a pout. "renjun and jaemin needs help, they called me cause you won't answer their calls. up to you if you want to help nana or not." jisung coaxed with a smirk. his smirk got even wider when he heard jeno groan.

"what's up?" the lad asked before gulping down the rest of the beer. he placed the glass on the coffee table and got up, "first you need a suit and don't forget your earpiece... WAIT!" jisung shouted when jeno was about to head up the stairs to go grab his suit. "what?" jeno whined and whipped his head in jisung's direction.

"no need to wear your lenses, we're showing your eye off tonight." jeno secretly cringed at jisung's remark before actually making his way up stairs.

"tell me, what we gonna do?" jeno asked as he buckled up on the drivers seat, "well," jisung started after he finished buckling up. "the Wrongdoer Unit is hosting a party, renjun heard that some other wrongdoer are gonna break into the party and try kill/harm most of the people there? we're going there to help them, standby y'know."

"why us? aren't we also wrongdoers?" jeno asked before speeding off to the WU headquarters, "yeah, wrongdoers that used to work there. plus mark invited us." jisung explains and leans the seat back a little. jeno sighs before slowing down to a stop as there was a red light.

"what's on your mind lately?" jisung questions after seeing how slumped jeno's posture was. "it's nothing..." jisung frowned and patted jeno's shoulder, "hey, i'm always here if you need me." jisung began with a small smile.

"i kinda- i miss jaemin... i feel so defeated, i feel so lost without him by my side y'know?" jeno vented and the traffic light went to green, "i'll tell you more when i'm ready, i promise."

"i know you can't keeps things from me for too long." jisung smiles and jeno speeds off.

"jeno earpiece on, renjun and jaemin will connect later. they'll come over to our parked car, AND!" jeno groans, "stop exclaiming!"

"your eyes look beautiful tonight -wait off topic- you take care of jaemin, i'll take care of renjun." jisung finishes as jeno parks the car infront of the headquarters, "why? two main targets? lemme guess: two men are gonna specifically come after them, huh?" jisung nodded and jeno laughed. they both heard knocks on the car window and saw their two awaited friends.

jeno unlocks the door letting renjun and jaemin climb in. "hi there jeno, it's be a while." renjun started with a smile, "it's been two days hyung, anyways why are we here?" jeno asked as if he knew nothing, "i heard that two men are after me and nana, we need our to best wrongdoers -yet the worst cause y'all have so many crimes up your sleeves- to look over us."

"i assigned you to nana, jeno."

"why him?" jaemin grimaces while giving jeno a death glare. "cause he knows you best, he knows the ways to take care of you and your antics." jaemin sighs when he saw jeno smirking. "fine..." he whispers and looked out the window, "just don't piss me off, other than that your safe with me."

"whatever you sick bastard." jaemin spatted before getting out the car, jeno handed the keys to the valet person (who stared at him in shock cause of his deep blue eye) and headed inside following jaemin suit.

"i'm very happy i was able to convince jisung to drag jeno along with him." mark started with a proud smile, donghyuck smacked his boyfriends shoulder "what? just look at him," he pointed to jeno who was only a couple of metres away from
jaemin, "every once in a while he'll look away from his convo to check up on nana, so sweet." renjun smiles and looks at jeno who was chatting with jisung.

"that's why i love my brother no matter what he is or what he's done." renjun startes and his smile just got wider. "yah, jeno. come over." renjun whispered over the comm and in a few seconds jeno was behind him with jisung beside him.

"what do you need?" jeno asked looking pissed renjun looked over to jisung to see him smiling brightly. "what happened?" chenle asked and handed renjun a glass of beer. "jisung freaking poured a glass of water onto my pants and it looks like i just peed my pants."

"you should've seen his face, it's so funny i should do it more often." jisung laughed and the others joined in, jaemin was the only one quiet.

"i remebered when i made him pour a shit ton of water down his trousers..." jaemin began with a smile before looking at jeno and his flushed cheeks. everybody laughed and for the first time since jeno walked back into their lives, they finally heard jeno's actual laugh.
