it was 7:10 p.m. and jaemin stood by the front door waiting for jeno to come and be his 'date' everybody was supposed to bring someone along with them and he didn't want to be the only one who had nobody, when he walked around for the first 5 minutes it looked like everbody had somebody.

jaemin started to admire the directions in hopes to kill some time, jaemin smiled when he realised that they added some of his ideas into the decor. one of the ideas was that the dress code is red and black with some white, the second idea that they added was that the colour of the walls and ceiling should be white and dark red, the third idea, he liked the most, was that everybody was prohibited to wear contact lens.

he always took note that everybody at work wore contacts and decided that they should go against their will and not wear contacts, that's why he added 'no contacts lens' into the idea book. if jaemin were to be honest the only reason why he had added his idea into the idea book was because jeno was coming to the party and he wanted to see those mesmerising eyes of the pink-head, jaemin had always loved the older's deep blue eye that contrasts with the pastel pink strands of hair.

jaemin was knocked out his thoughts when someone (more like the man he was thinking about just a second ago) blew air in his left ear, "hey." he whispered. jaemin whipped his head around only to have jeno's face centimetres away from his own, he could feel the older's breathing on his lips. he pulled back with a blush, "hey jeno, you couldn't just tap my shoulder?" jeno laughed as it sounded more like a question to him.

"let's go in yeah?" jeno said and smiled brightly at jaemin who nodded and grab hold of jeno's hand, intertwining their fingers. "the girls had questioned me if we were dating and i said 'yes' out of annoyance, so we have to act like we are." jeno hummed and gazed down jaemin's body, his red dress shirt hugged his body nicely and his black suit and necktie made him look beautiful in jeno's eyes.

he had worn the exact same coloured dress shirt as jaemin but his pants were black skinny jeans unlike jaemin who had on dress pants. jaemin found himself gazing down at the skinny jeans that stuck onto jeno's legs like second skin, he looked away from the lad's leg with he tugged his hand. "what are you doing? quit staring at me like that." the older warned and jaemin smiled.

"then quit wearing skinny jeans and i may reconsider." he stopped in his tracks and pulled jeno back he then stood on his tippy-toes and whispered into the older's ears. "if you don't then we're going shopping and i know you hate that." he smirked and let the heels of his feet touch the ground before walking again.

"jae-eun, it's not fair! i had him in my grip first!" miya fumed and jae-eun inhaled sharply. "he's not even yours to begin with." she tried to explain but miya wouldn't listen as she kept on glaring at jaemin who's hand were intertwined with jeno's. "that could've been me!" miya claimed with arms crossed over her chest. "she has something called jealousy, for sure." junghwa suddenly claimed as she came up behind jae-eun.

"i'm not jealous!" the youngest of the three shouted and puffed her cheeks. "you're jealous too, junghwa!" the lassie shook her head with a smile, "renjun oppa is cute but i've got my eyes on chenle." junghwa winked and jae-eun fake gaged. "now i wish ji-soo was here..." she whispered.

"let's go join in on their conversation!" miya beamed and both junghwa and jae-eun shook their heads with a sigh of frustration.

"so y'all are dating now right?" jisung asked jeno who shook his head, "why'd you ask?" jisung looked at jeno and jaemin's intertwined fingers. jeno followed the younger's gaze eith his eyes down to his and jaemin's hand. "oh this? it's because jaemin fucked up." jisung nodded and turned to jaemin "how did you fucked up again?" he asked the older.

"i accidentally made a scene and exclaimed that jeno was my boyfriend so that miya can shut up. now i have to prove to her." the younger said and jeno winced when jaemin unexpectedly tighten his grip. "jisung, baby. can we go grab a drink?" renjun plead and jisung nodded allowing the older to drag him to the bar. "jeno, the girls are coming." donghyuck warned and pulled mark closer to his body, mark instinctively wrapped his arms around the smaller's waist.

jeno pulled his hand away from jaemin's and wrapped it around the younger's waist, pulling him closer to his body. jaemin stiffens as his body came into contact with jeno's but relaxes when he felt how gentle jeno was with his small body frame, even his arm were wrapped loosely against his waist yet it still had such a protective grip on his hipbones.

"where did renjun and jisung go?" jeno leaned back abit to whisper in mark's ear, "get a drink at the bar maybe?" mark replied and jeno nodded understandingly. "is jisung and renjun a thing?" he asked the older who decide to scoot closer to jeno making donghyuck scoot closer as well. mark nodded and leaned forward to see jaemin with his eyes closed, probably enjoying the warmth radiating off jeno.

"he looks comfortable." mark nodded at jaemin and jeno hummed with a big bright smile. "why are the girls just standing there?" donghyuck asked and mark shrugged, "it's as if they are spying on us but they're pretty obvious..." jeno stated the facts and jaemin could be heard giggling. "can we go somewhere else, nono? the gaze is making me uncomfortable."

jeno nodded with a hum before looking at mark and nodding his head to the side, "how bout the bar?" he asked the oldest who lifted his eyebrow up in agreement. jeno let go of jaemin's waist and the younger frowned, donghyuck who notice smiled brightly and whispered to mark, "they're acting like couples, and it's so realistic."

mark chortled and nodded, "just jeno letting go for a brief moment has jaemin frowning." donghyuck chuckled, he shifted his gaze to his two friends who now had their fingers intertwined and is swinging their arms together.

"they are so cute, i completely agree that they should date." donghyuck whispered.

"agreed." mark replied.
