"Kill me," I command.
"No, don't talk like that I don't need to kill you," Liam says twitchingly.
"At least drink my blood. You need it or your gonna drive yourself insane. Please just let me help you."
"Stop it!" Liam pushes me. I just had that gut feeling that if I hadn't done anything he would suffer more than he already is. I kneel and part strands of my hair behind my left ear. Forcing myself near his lips. He starts to shake still resisting his temptation of drinking me. A sigh leaves my lips as I grab Liam's hands, giving him a reassuring look.
Liam gently places his hand on my neck and lifts his lips to touch my snow-like skin. It's taken him a second before licking his soft tongue against my throat. Then he harshly throws his hands in my hair and pulls exposing my entire neck. Two sharp objects hit into my veins. Like two bee stings filling me with poison. I grip at Liam's hair waiting for him to stop. Everything around me goes silent and I start to hear my heartbeat sync with his swallows. This could be my death and I wouldn't care as long as I knew I had helped him.
After five minutes it was like a painful orgasm, and I couldn't take anymore. "Stop!" I plead, But Liam doesn't nudge.
"I can't." He grunts pulling my hair harder.
I start to kick as my visions fades and becomes blurry. I stare at Liam's ceiling just hoping this was helping him a bit. That's when he finally releases himself off of me, Gasping for air. "Fuck," He whispers under his breath. "I'm sorry, this shouldn't have happened." Liam wipes my blood from his pale lips.
I feel myself fall backward and hit his carpet. I place my fingers against the two holes he has now created upon my throat and feel that I haven't stopped bleeding. I'm surrounded by a pool of my own blood. My body going numb and a pounding headache that felt like a drummer was doing a solo set in my brain. That's when my body gave up and I passed out.
"Abby?" I hear in the distance.
I feel like shit opening my eyes and when my memories come rushing back to me I
Rush out of my little coma. As my visions re-focuses, I see Liam's dad hitting Liam and screaming. "WHAT THE FUCK WHERE YOU THINKING YOU STUPID WORTHLESS BOY!?"
"I'm sorry dad I couldn't help myself." Liam pleads.
"I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR YEARS TO HELP YOU CONTROL YOURSELF, AND THIS IS WHAT I'M GETTING BACK. ANOTHER GIRL THAT YOUR SCREWING SO YOU CAN DRINK HER BLOOD. I THOUGHT YOU STOPPED DOING THIS AFTER EMMA!"
"This is different father, she isn't like Emma." I see Liam's dad give him another slap and punch. I quickly get up and run over to them trying to split the two up before Liam gets mad.
"Stop it!" I push Liam away while taking a hit from his dad. I slip backwards being caught by Liam mid-fall. He gives his dad a serious stare almost like he was threating him through telekinesis.
"You need to leave," Liam growls.
His dad looks at me. "I pray for you." He speaks and walks out of Liam's apartment.
"Jesus this is a fucking mess," Liam says helping me stand straight.
"Yeah no shit, I think we need a therapist. Or counseling." I joke.
"Hell no," Liam says. His eyes quickly move to my neck which is still bleeding, but not as rapid.
I cover my neck with my hand. "How long was I out for?" I ask as Liam opens a giant square bandage. He starts to position it over my wound.
"Only a couple minutes. My dad walked in and heard me yelling your name, which is obviously where this went over the line."
"I didn't mean for that to happen," I say helping him place the bandage on me.
"I know, you were just trying to help me." Liam helps fix my hair as my phone vibrates in my pocket. I check it seeing my mom had texted me.
"Hey honey, I'll be home in an hour for lunch."
I reply "I'll be here🖤"
Shit, Liam, I need to go. I say making sure my hair covers up the bandage and rushing to the door.
"Wait, Abby." Liam grabs my shoulder.
"Can we talk about this later? Maybe? Like Friday or something?" I was a bit surprised, he's been trying to push me away ever since that night and now he wants to "just talk"?
"Sure I guess, I mean it's not like I have friends I'm gonna hang with." I giggle.
"Okay yeah, I'll text you and uh do you want me to walk you home?" Liam awkwardly says.
"Dude, I'm a big girl I can walk the streets by myself." And with that I smile and walk out of his apartment.
My mom brought subway home for our lunch. She thinks I'm weird because I only like olives and mayonnaise.
"I just don't get why you let other people options control you." My mom throws her subway wrapper away.
"I don't, and besides you totally changed the subject. I'm serious about asking Kathryn for some time off." I say.
"I can't, I really need these extra hours I'm getting paid good and the house is almost paid off."
"Youll be living alone in a couple of years anyway, I don't get why you need this house anyway." I wishper.
"Im gonna pretend like you didn't just say something negative and be on my way." My mom grabs her purse and heads towards the door. "Ill see you in like eight hours or something." She waves and walks out.
Quickly after that I get a text message. It's was of course Liam, it only took him two hours before trying to make plans with me. He went months avoiding me and he all of a sudden wants be friends.
"You said Friday right?" Liam sent.
"Yeah, I mean anyday works really but if your up for Friday then I guess that's okay."
"Okay, I've never really hung out with anyone so like what's a hobby of yours or where do you wanna go and shit? Also like what time do you wanna hang out, Im usualy up pretty late :0"
I think about it for a moment, "I havent gone swimming all summer lmao, and I like swimming when it's dark out."
"So like ten on Friday?"
"Yeah sure, wanna meet at the lake or you gonna pick me up??" I jokingly ask.
"Ill just pick you up, it easier than waiting for you😂" Liam replys "see you then."
"Yeah, see you then" I text ending the conversation.
