Anvay's POV :-

Monday is back..!!! Yayyyy... Usually people hates Mondays, I also did. But now, since I get to see my Pearl only on weekdays, I love weekdays. I reached office just on time as I want to be there when she arrives. She and Dr. Vashisth comes together, in his car mostly. I hope, one day I'll be able to pick her up from her home and we'll come together to office. Hey..!! Where did that come from..?? Ugh.. Whatever.

And finally. She came with Dr. Vashisth, of course. I got to see her but she looked so tired, like she didn't sleep well last night. She seems like she's very tensed over something. What is it..?? I can do anything to see her angelic smile again. I want to solve whatever problem she has. Dr. Vashisth seems to be very good friend of her. Can't he solve it..?? Shouldn't he do it..?? Isn't it his responsibility..?? But no. I should do it personally. I don't want to be relied on someone for my Pearl. Maybe I should ask her directly. But will she tell me..?? What should I do to get to know what's bothering her..??

I was just thinking about any idea, when the door of my office opened and a sad and irritated looking Armaan entered. "Aa Gaya Mr. Devdas." my inner voice doesn't seem to get that I hate him for commenting in every bad situation. But whatever, as much as I hate to admit but Armaan's problem is more important than scolding my inner voice. Actually, yesterday he called me late at night and told me that he saw that girl again. I was excited to know about her. But he told me that he still doesn't know anything about her. And then he explained the whole incident that how he saw her and what she said and someone was with her and then she ran away from him. When he went outside, she was disappeared like she never came. There were no traces of her. He was happy, but devastated. I suggested him to ask the patient and staff and he said that he'll meet me today. So, he's here. He looks very low. That means something's wrong.

"Kya hua..?? Kuch pata chala..??" "Nahi yaar. Kuch bhi pata nahi chala. And that idiot politician..!! At first, he was saying that he hadn't seen any people in the room. Then when I told him that I saw two persons, one boy and one girl, then he told me that he didn't know them. And now, when I threatened him to leak the footages to media, he's saying that they were some Shadow Hunters, and they came to rob him. But -" "Hey hey..!! Did you just say footages..?? Then check it naa.. You will get at least their names and faces." "I already checked it yaar... Both of them were in hoods, so I couldn't see their faces. And they weren't addressing each other with names. Today I was thinking to take that footage to some expert and do the voice identity test. But when I checked the PC, the files were deleted..!! I don't understand this. I saw all the files last night. Now this means only one thing, that she got the access to the hospital PC, and deleted the file. Fuck yaar..." Now what to do..?? None of us said anything for some time. "Hey, what's this Shadow Hunters..?? Wait. Does it mean The Shadow Hunters..?? The one who rob corrupt people and donate the money to charity..??" "I think so. They match the description of Shadow Hunters. But how can she be a Shadow Hunter..?? She's just a girl, not to forget with an high class attitude, but being a Shadow Hunter is way too much risky for a girl like her. She is doing such risky work..?? I can't believe it..!! But if she really is a Shadow Hunter, then her life is constantly under threat. I have to find her before something happens to her." "Someone is getting protective, huh..??" He just smiled shyly in answer. "Oye hoye..!! Banda pyaar mein pagal ho chuka hai..!!" "Khich le saale khich le. Jis din teri baari aayegi na, uss din chodunga nahi tujhe main. Dekh lena." I was caught off guard. That reminded me of my Pearl. I haven't told Armaan anything about her. Maybe this is the time.

It's lunch time. Armaan has left, but he has given me an amazing idea. So, let's go and apply it. I went to the Cafeteria. Crowded... isis the only word that I can think about. Long time no see..!! Suhana met me in the corridor. I told her about the announcement, and she agreed to do it. "Guys..!! Can I have your attention please..??" Her voice echoed in the room. Everyone went quiet and paid attention to me and Suhana. I could see my Pearl sitting on a table at the corner with Dr. Vashisth and some other people. I felt a bit of jealousy rising inside me. But anyway, I paid attention to what Suhana was saying. "Thank you. So, today I'm here to announce that our boss, Mr. Anvay Raichand is getting the award for Young Achiever of the Year for the forth time in a row..!! Congratulations..!!" And with that, the whole Cafeteria erupted into a big applause. I just smiled at everyone. My Pearl was also clapping with a happy smile. I suddenly felt proud that she was clapping for me. The applause died down after some moments and Suhana continued. "Thank you everyone. And as all of us know, every year, we organise a party after the award function for our employees. So, iss saal bhi a party is going to be organised by our company. But the twist is, everyone has to bring a date with them." A slight chattering appeared in the hall. "Yes. You've heard it right. Everyone has to bring a date with them to enter in the party. No one will be allowed without a date. So, be prepared. Venue, time and dress code will be sent to you. Thank you." I glanced at my Pearl to see her reaction. She seemed surprised, but then Dr. Vashisth said something in her ears and she smiled instantly High-fiving with him. Another round of applause erupted as I left the hall. What did he tell her. Wait. Is she going with him.?? No way. That will ruin my whole plan..!! I can't let that happen. Shiiiiiit...!! I'm sure I will find a way to convince her to go with me. "She isn't even friends with you. Why would she go with you..??" inner voice interrupted. Whatever the situation is right now, but I will do everything in my control to convince her to go with me.
