3. The ending decision

It's been 4 days since I met Sara and also Zach. Today's Friday, the last day of work for the week. My boyfriend, David is coming back after six months from his business trip. So, I have to go the airport to pick him. He lived opposite to my apartment.

He's very insecure person so often he used to act very possessively. Once, I was talking with one of my colleagues who was new and when David saw that, David then warned him to stay away from me.I got so angry that I didn't talk to him for many days. Also in every agruments, he made me feel as if it's my fault.

My parents used to love me very much but they weren't happy with each other because they had different perspectives with no understanding and respect. So, I wanted someone who could understand me and respect my decisions. These six months made me realize that David isn't the one for me.So, I have decided to end our relationship.

It's time to go airport.I went the airport and met David. He kissed me.I decided to tell him about our break up on Sunday as tommorow was Saturday and I had to meet Sara and tell her first.

I called Sara as soon as I went home.I asked her to meet me tommorow evening. She agreed.

It was now Saturday. David and I decided to go for lunch. We went to the cafe where we often used to go. We talked and had our lunch. He said,"Babe,you are so different today."
I knew I was acting weird because I was going to break up with him tommorow and I didn't know how will he react but I said,"No, I am just a little bit tired. This week I was very busy at work ." He said,"Oh okay."

I met Sara in the evening and told her everything that I was feeling right now. She totally agreed my decision. She had always been my great supporter. That's why noone can ever take her place in my heart and life.

Later, at night I told David to meet me tommorow in the evening. Then,I slept.

It was Sunday evening and David and I went to the restaurant.We had our dinner.I tried to say him there but couldn't.Then we paid the bill and started to go home.Then he dropped his car at his apartment and we started to go to my apartment.

As we reached to the gate of my apartment, I gathered all my courage and said to him,"David, I am very sorry but I think we should break up because I think we are not good for each other." He stared me for a while and then said,"Who is he?" I got shocked."What?" I questioned him. With a very harsh tone he replied,"I know you are cheating on me with someone.So I am asking his name." I felt bad and started to cry.People started to look at us. He started saying me bad words and within a second he slapped me in front of everyone. He was again going to slap me but suddenly someone stopped him. I saw it was the hand of Zach.He pushed David. They started to fight but the guard stopped them.

Without even thinking, David said to me,"Oh,  you were cheating on me with him." I couldn't say anything so I just cried and felt myself a fool for thinking that he actually loved me. After David went,Zach held my hand and started to take me to my room. When we reached outside of my room, he asked me key and opened the door.

Then we both entered. I couldn't control myself so I started crying more.Zach gave me water and asked me to stop crying.I stopped crying after a while and then I looked at Zach.Then, I apologised him for what David told about him.He said,"Don't feel sorry.Its not your fault.I should go now.I have called Sara.She must be on her way.Take care." Before leaving he gave me a kiss in my forehead.I felt good because of that kiss and for understanding that I needed my bestfriend.Then he left and after some time,Sara came.

She gave me a hug.She was very angry and was telling me that he was a monster and I did not deserve him. Then she told me to rest and then we went to sleep. However, I couldn't sleep.I was hating myself for loving the boy who never loved me back truely.Was it just a lust to him?
