2. Our small talk

Sara and I woke up late in the morning.We both had very bad hangover so we decided to go for having coffee and then for shopping with my other friends from work, Karla and Diana.Sara is my best friend since childhood but also I am also very close with Karla and Diana even though we met just a year ago.Well I am working as a receptionist in one of the best offices of New York.

Sara and I were having coffee. "Girl, I would never drink this much again.Thank god Zach dropped us." Sara said. "Yes, you better not do that again or ask me to do so with your puppy eyes." I said and then we both laughed.Then we met Karla and Diana and Sara explained everything that happened yesterday.

Karla asked me, "So how was Zach? Did anything happened between you two." Well yes there was something between us but I couldn't explain that to them so I said nothing. Sara said,"Girls, there's no chance. Zach has girlfriend and so does Nina right?"
"Yes.I do."I said. My boyfriend,David.He loves me alot and we are together for nearly two years. At first everything was nice but now things are not good. He's changed very much. "Please lets not talk about David,please." Diana said with an irritating face.

I don't know why but when Sara told Zach has girlfriend, I felt bad. I don't know why was I expecting something else. I mean he's so handsome and is a gentleman. Any girl will fall for him.
I wanted to ask about his girlfriend but I thought it will be a bit more asking about his personal life with his sister.

After hanging out, I went to apartment. I was waiting for lift. Suddenly someone with a good scent came near me.I looked and got surprised.It was Zach.
I smiled and asked nervously,"Zach,wha...what are you doing here?" " Oh hey Nina." Zach smiled. Wow he knows my name.I felt happy. Zach started talking again with a kind of unhappy face,"My...My girlfriend lives here." I got shocked and don't know why but I asked him immediately,"Which floor?" He replied,"Tenth." "Really, that's my floor too.Can I know her name?"I asked. "Of course.Her name is Liza."he said.
"Ohh. I know her.She is my neighbour. My room is just next to her."I replied.He just nodded his head.
I thought it would not be nice to ask him more as I felt he was not interested in talking about her. Then we said goodbye to each other and I went to my room.

Even though Liza is very attractive girl but we haven't talk much as she isn't a friendly person and I felt as if he was not happy in his relationship like me. So I thought about asking this to Sara. I usually don't care about other's personal life but I wanted to know his and I don't know why. Everytime I see Zach,I feel delighted and while looking into his eyes, I feel connected.It feels like I had known him since many years and his voice is so good that I can keep listening it.

I can't deny, he's an attractive man and I am thinking about him alot but I shouldn't be thinking about him as I am committed to someone else and he's also.So I decided to sleep as I had to go to work tomorrow.
