I spent my every time with her;
Bouncing on the water,
Casting out three feet from the Waters edge,
Fooling on our way to the out house.The poles turned to balls,
Passed competitively back and forth.
No matter what changed,
We remained
Ever growing sisters from youth.Tear drops filled wells
When she headed south.Time passed,
Few words fell.
Our childishness melted awayMy sister got lost,
Refusal to be found.
Untied the ropes that kept us bound.
Not ounce left of our sisterhood.Faded memories
Lay shattered
At my feet.
