It was the day before the surgery and the doctor wanted to discuss some things over with us. There were minimal risks but we just have to precede with some caution. We have to take in effect what may or may not happen.
The doctor sat us down " thanks guys for coming in... I'm glad you guys decided to go with the surgery and as you know with every procedure there are risks. There is a small chance that the anarzym may burst and that is fatal. There Is also so chance of bleeding, the stent we place can move... but all those things are just the what if's..." I looked at him " and this procedure he's been successful.." In the few cases we've seen yes! This is very rare but I want to comfort you by saying that I've performed many of these and the have all gone smoothly.."
It was scary but I knew everything would be ok..
