The New Beginning

It's the start of a new beginning

Yugi's POV

Tea and I had been staring at the night sky for quite awhile. It was a really strange sight and a weird feeling. After an hour of watching the sky we finally were heading out and back home. I am glad that we are both on good terms and still really good friends. I walked her back home and I was walking back to the Game Shop. I'm glad everything is working out how I wanted it to be.

"Hey Yugi, how was your evening my boy?" Grandpa asked with wide eyes. He knew I was going to talk to Tea about everything so I knew I had to keep him in the loop of course.

"It actually was rough at first, but we're still good friends. Everything is going to be okay." I said while I gave my grandpa a big smile and then he started rubbing his hand through my hair.

"Hey, that's not very nice Grandpa!" I said while I was laughing at him.

"I never said I was nice my boy. Why don't we go to the kitchen and I'll make us some hot chocolate and pancakes?" he said with a grin. I then looked at the clock then at him and said..

"It's 10:30 at night and you want that?" I was making sure he was up for this at this time of night. I then looked at him and he gave me a cheesy grin.

"Of course my boy, it's been a good day and you're feeling more yourself than I have seen you in a long time. It's called for a celebration!" he then patted my back and walked into the kitchen.

I sat on the couch watching a few duels just thinking about everything. It has been a good day.. All my friends know my secret and my Grandpa. It feels really good to know I am not lying to myself or the others anymore.

Atem's POV

I opened my eyes and I feel like I have been hit by a train.. My entire body hurts and my head is pounding... I looked around my surroundings and I am back in Domino. It was really really late at night. I was in the middle of downtown Domino. It was 10:45 and I was thinking on what I should do. I then looked down to see what I was wearing and thank Ra I am wearing the clothes I had when I left after the Ceremonial Duel. I laid down on the ground near some trees. It was a beautiful evening and I just laid down thinking on what I should do. Should I stay here, find one of the others or just straight to Yugi's... Oh Ra.. I am back in Yugi's time!! It just hit me!! I am freaking out.. After that terrifying experience I lost my mind.. I jumped up and just ran to the Game Shop. No one is stopping me.

"Hey Yugi!" a very familiar voice was calling to me. I knew it was at me since I look like Yugi for the most part. I looked behind me and it was Joey.

"Hey man what are you going here out so..." he stopped once he realized it was me.."bud how did you... when.. HAVE YOU SEEN YUGI?!!" he grabbed me by my shoulders and before I knew it he hugged me and cried.

"It's been so long.. I have missed you.." he said while he was still crying. I hugged him tight and then I pushed him some so I could talk to him and explain some of the questions.

"I just came back maybe 10 minutes ago, it's a very long story, and no I haven't seen Yugi just yet. I was actually running that way before you called my name out. Also, I missed you too Joey. I am glad to be back." I smiled at him and he smiled back at me and started to talk.

"Well bud, lets go surprise Yugi!" he and I ran quickly down to the Game Shop. This was it.. I am finally going to my Yugi.
