March 27th, 2006One day, in fourth grade, Jessica Thomas told me that if you plant a finger nail in the ground, it'll grow into a person. She told me the details and everything. It has to be March for one thing. Use a hair color in which you prefer. An object of a pretty color in which you would like the eyes and an object of high value to you. Being the smarter boy that I was, I disregarded the dumb tale and continued on with my day. Until around six years later. I was laying in bed at 3 am, thinking obviously. I abruptly got up, furrowing my brows at how rash I was acting.I rummaged through my messy bedroom for around 10 minutes. If this would work I wanted my boy perfect. I tip toed down the hall and slipped out of the sliding glass door, outside. The crisp air prickled my skin as I sped onto the unkempt grass of our backyard. I searched for the perfect patch of soft dirt before I plunged my pale fingers into it, yanking the dirt out relentlessly. After I made a significant hole, I bit a nail tip off and carelessly tossed it into the dirt. I set a beautiful natural green tube of paint in the hole, hesitantly taking my favourite bat man action figure. I loved that thing. I sighed and kissed it before carefully planting him, covering him with significant amounts of dirt and running off to my room where I restlessly waited for the morning.
