She walks me to the library, yet, I black out in the middle of process. Now I'm not even sure if she took me to the library.

"Akuva?"

This is a little girl for sure, but who's this? It's dark again and I can't answer.

"It's me, Janet."

Janet? I've heard that name too. Akuva...?

"I hope you'll feel better soon. I got you some flowers so you can smell them while you sleep."

Flowers? Where?

"Mom and Dad told me you were sleeping, but I heard them talk about your fate. I heard the doctor talk about it too."

Now it sounds like she's crying...

"Don't leave me! I'm sorry for whatever I did! Is it because I crashed your room?"

Room? Leave? I'm not moving. What the hell are you talking about?

I happen to awaken with the same dark skinned face hanging over me as I lay on a smooth surface.

"So what they say about you is true," Luis says, her voice bringing out the fact she was observing me the way I did her. This is our first time meeting each other and with our many differences it's hard to trust each other all ready, yet we have no other choice it seems.

"What?" I asked, getting up to be more clear of the upcoming answer.

"You're good for blacking out. You have a hard time keeping up with the real world. Some say you pass on to a world beyond ours and communicate with it."

Now that I think about it, I was just listening to a girl's voice. But even that, I can't remember. This is starting to get really annoying. I think I might've been closer to my name. I'm not liking Kaid so much.

Wait, "the real world?" I don't know about that. If this is the real world, then my really is Kaid. However, when I tell myself that, it doesn't sit right. Well, until I figure out the truth, this is just going to have to be the real world for now.

"Is that true?" she asks, interrupting my deep thoughts.

"I guess...." I mutter.

"Well, this is the Library of the Last Dimension. You can read any book you like here, just put them back when your done. If you can't remember where, just ask me, I'll put them back."

I sit completely straight to take a look at the library. It is all white. It looks more like a classy museum than it does a library, only there are no statues or displays. Just books. Everywhere. There are large hallways surrounding me. The books are broken into as many categories as possible.

and so on.

Reading would be good for me right now. I need to take my mind off things and try to relax.

No.

Wrong time.

Not in the mist of confusion. I have to get things straight with this woman.

"Hey, Luis...?" I whimper slowly, trying to grasp the courage to speak out loud.

"Yes, Kaid?"

"I'd hate to sound silly, but, where the hell am I?"
