I awaken in a safe area, at least I hope it's safe. It looks safe. It's all big and beautiful. Looks like a place I would want to live. I haven't had any weird dreams lately. That's good. Where's Moki and the other Dokushin?
"Ha ha ha ha! You must be awake!" laughs a mighty voice from the top of the stairs in front of me covered by a long purple carpet. There is a lot of purple here. I just noticed that. Better not get side tracked.
From the top of the stairs comes a tall man. He's about as dark as Luis with his black hair styled into that classic anime do: Two thick bangs over the sides of his forehead with the rest all sticking up. He has a large purple cloth going around his neck and hanging down his back, covering it. Along with it, he wears a dark blue sweater, baggy black pants and large black boots. He's wearing gloves too. White. God, this guy looks like an idiot.
Out of all the things in the world I could ask this guy, I blurt out,
"Hey, are you obsessed with purple?"
I feel so stupid. Why didn't I at least ask where I was first? Oh well, I guess I'm about to get the answer of my first--
"It's dark purple and dark blue I am obsessed with! They are my favorite colors!" the man answers.
Yeah...this guy is most defiantly fond of himself. Does he even know who I am? Maybe I should ask.
"Do you know who I am?" I ask.
"Why, of course, you're Kaid Tyui, the one chosen to stop the death clouds. Chosen by Princess Tsunaki herself," the man answers with pride, as if he were talking about himself.
"Well...how'd I get here?" I ask.
"I was ordered by my love, Luis to come and make sure that you haven't been killed by death clouds, but I the same time, I was ordered by a witch to assassinate all of the Dokushin. I was about to, but I decided that Luis was more important, so I scooped you're sleeping body up as soon as possible, however, I had to put a spell on your friend."
My friend...? Luis...? Luis! Oh thank God she's alright! But...who's....? Oh! Moki! A spell. Is he a...?
"Well, what's the matter, boy? Aren't you going to ask about him? You ask about anything else," he calls.
Got that right. Too much if you ask me.
"Yeah, where is he and who the hell are you?" I ask.
"Your friend is fine. I only put a minor sleep spell on him. I am Hajime, Wizard of the Last Dimension. Everyone is good for depending on me. I really don't do much, but put sleeping spells on people and hustle about 1,000 dollars per hour."
Wow, I could do your job.
"So....when'd you find Luis?" I ask.
"After the last death cloud attack. I had to make sure my sweat Luis was okay. She was safe inside the library with Rikiya. It was a close one though. I wonder how long you two have been friends. You worry about each other the same."
Okay, now this guy's talking normal. I guess I have nothing to worry about. Wait...so let me get this straight: he's in love with Luis? Whoa! Why am I still here if she--?
"However, I didn't want to bring you back until I tested your strength!" Hajime announces.
Whoa! Test what?! Please be on paper!
He summons this large stick using a sparkling bright magic. He spins it around and points it at me.
Holy hell.
I don't have anything to defend myself with. Gosh, I just got here, literally! I'll just have to do my best. I have no other choice. If I just stand here, he'll kill me, well, he shouldn't kill me since he's supposed to return me to Luis...not unless he forgets. Oh hell...
