**Chapter Seven**

**LAURENT POV**

Three weeks before the dance camp our ma was visiting and pottering about in the kitchen. Our BF's and there girls were also at ours, the aroma of our ma's delicious cooking was filling our senses to the hilt and our drool was flowing.

When the doorbell rang we all startled. Before we could say anything our ma called out asking us to let her guests in. We moved to the door, checked the peep hole, glanced at each other with smiles and slid the door open to Sapphire (Sapp) and Kaitlyn (Kat). They smiled, we stepped aside and greeted with a peck to their cheeks as they entered. They waited for us to close the door then we lead them toward the lounge
Ma: Boys, bring Belles in here please - calling out, we diverted
They greeted with hugs
Them: Can we do anything
Ma: Set the table please
Us: We will help
Ma: Thank you boys
As we were setting up our BF's and Angela (Ang) helped us out while Christine (Chris) sat at the breakfast bar
Ma: If your not gonna do anything then go away - looking at Chris
We all stopped and looked at Chris
Ma: Easy Belles
Them: Yes ma'am - they continued setting up
Ma: Your making the place look untidy . . Go away - Chris huffed and moved to the lounge

With the table set Sapp and Kat asked for the washroom. We lead them and closed the door
Sapp: Whats up guys
Us: Not sure
Kat: Y'all are asking the wrong person's - we looked at each other and twin talked "Mama"

Escorting Sapp and Kat to the kitchen our mama asked the rest of us to wash up. We did as asked and returned to served plates, our ma seated at the head of the table, Sapp and Kat side by side at the end of the table.  We sat opposite Sapp and Kat, our ma blessed
Chris: What's the occasion
Ma: I invited friends for dinner, is that a problem - Chris shook her head 'no
Frank: Belles, why can't we call you Belles - blurting out
Ma: I already tell you why
Frank: But I wanna hear it from them ma - our ma looked at Sapp and Kat
We all looked at Sapp and Kat, they were chewing and indicating with a finger they had mouth fulls of food
Ma: Sorry belles, enjoy your meal - smiling, Sapp and Kat nodded 'okay
We saw Chris nudge Frank
Frank: How come you can call them belles and we cant - abrupt
Sapp: Freedom to speak ma'am - we all looked at Sapp
Her's and Kat's eyes were fixed on Frank
Ma: Why are you talking to me like that . . . What has gotten into you lately - quietly
We looked at our ma
Us: Ma, it's okay - concerned
Sapp: It's never okay
Kat: Too allow a friend to speak to ma'am in that manner
Them: Ma'am, may we be excused - our ma nodded 'yes
Sapp and Kat raised and pushed there chairs in
Ma: Belles, take your plates with you and follow me - also raising and lifting her plate
Them: Yes ma'am
Sapp and Kat lifted their plates and followed our ma to the table on the balcony
Ang: What the fuck is your problem
Frank: I don't have a problem
Ang: Not you asshole . . . . Her - Chris startled
Ang: You manipulative little bitch, you've got these three dickheads wrapped around your little finger doing your dirty work for you
Frank: Thats not true
Ang: Now your being ignorant like the bitch your fucking - her eyes shot to us
Us: What!
Ang: You tapping that too
Us: Fuck no
Frank: Whats wrong with my girl
Kirk: Are you serious bro . . . You'd let Lau and Lar tap your girl
Frank and us: Fuck no
Ang: Bet Chris would let you if you asked
Chris: No I wouldn't - high pitched
Ang: Yes you would - mocking her
Chris went to say something and quickly closed her mouth
Ang: Whats the matter . . . Cat got your tongue . . . Frank can't save you, Lau and Lar won't save you . . . SHIT! . . . I've just figured out what you meant by pillow talk - looking at us
Kirk: It wasn't Lau and Lar who said that
Ang: Then who said it
Us: Sapp and Kat -
We all looked to see our ma, Sapp and Kat chatting, smiling and enjoying there meals

**LARRY POV**

Over the next hour we finished our meals, cleared and cleaned in silence. As for Ang, after her meal she moved to the balcony and joined our ma, Sapp and Kat, they were all laughing. When finished, the rest of us moved to the other side of the balcony to relax and looked at each other
Ma: Here you are, what are you doing over this side - chirpy
Us: We thought you were pissed
Ma: I was but you know what belles are like
Chris: Like what - abrupt
Ma: You know what . . . Us girls are going for a walk - before we could protest our ma turned and walked away
Chris: They can't go out, you have to stop them, its almost dark
We saw our ma, Sapp, Kat and Ang heading for the door
Chris: Go and stop them, your mama could get jumped out there
Us: Should we go - looking at them
Chris: Yes, anything could happen
Us:    Well . . . . . Go on then
Chris: Come on then . . . Aren't you coming - standing up with Frank
Lau: We have no reason too
Lar: Our ma and Ang are in safe hands
Chris: How . . . If you mean those cripples, what the fuck are they gonna do - blurting out
Frank looked at her with wide eyes. We smirked and shifted our weight to manover our recliners into zero gravity positions, looking up at the darkening sky with smiles on our faces zoning out while Frank and Chris moved to the lounge

Ang: WTF . . . . . GET A FUCKEN ROOM - Yelling
Startled, Kirk and us quickly entered to see Chris straddling Frank on our sofa . . Naked
Them: Never thought we'd see that again - angrily
Ma: Easy Belles
Kat: It's okay ma'am, she convinced her brother's to kill themselves when they shamed there family
Sapp: Pity . . . she would be too if she didn't chicken out
Kat: Don't let us stop you, you can get dressed now
Sapp: And do what you normally do . . . Run like the coward you are
Them: We'll show ourselves out - turning
Ma: Belles - quietly, Sapp and Kat stopped
Sapp: The tattoo ma'am - our ma looked at the tattoo on Chris's back
Our ma quickly covered her mouth and nose gasping, her eyes wide
Them: Our apologises ma'am - with that they walked away
Ma: Change my flight . . . I wanna go home - muffled but clear enough to understand
We saw our ma's eyes welling as she turned and rushed to her guest room
Us: What the fuck happened - shocked

We were all seated, all we could think of was "we need new sofa's"
Ma: You've decided to stick around and face the music for once - appearing with her luggage
Us: Ma, please don't go - pleading
Ma: Did you change my flight - we shook our heads 'no
Ma: Just as well, Rosetta and Linda are on there way.  I'm staying with them for a few days - all the while her eyes were fixed on Chris
Our ma sat with us
Ma: Three years ago Sapphire caught her ex in bed with another girl, some time later Kaitlyn caught her ex . . . . with the same girl . . . They never saw her face . . . all they saw was the tattoo - we all looked at Chris
Chris glared at our ma
Ma: Belles ex's were brothers . . . The bit on the side . . . She was there sister - our jaws dropped
The blood literally drained from Christine's body
Ma: The door is unlocked . . . . Use it - with that Chris quickly left
Ma: I'll be in my room, let me know when Rosetta and Linda arrive
Us: Ma . . . Please
Ma: You will see me in a few days, you lot need to sort yourselves out - with that our ma raised and strolled to her room
