**LAURENT POV**

The end of January, us guys were seated on a sofa at our ma's place, arms crossed over our chests, legs flopped out straight and glaring at our mama's seated across from us on another sofa with smiles on there faces, Angela (Ang) on a single armchair sitting pretty

Our mama's had called us guys a few days earlier asking us to call in, they wanted to tell us something and told us a time to be at our ma's.  We didn't expect our mama's to tell us they had met someone and that they were on the way to meet us

Us guys asked questions about these . . . Someone's and got the same response . . . "You will see", the way our mama's said "You will be happy for us" didn't go down well

When the door bell rang, us guys shifted to stand, the words "Do not move" slipping from our mama's mouths had us guys slumping back against the back rest

To our horror . . . Three . . . Youngish guys around our age, dressed in army greens entered.  Us guys gulped down what we were gonna say when our mama's introduced the guys and returned to the sofa.  We didn't hear what our mama's said as our eyes were fixed on the wolf hybrid puppies strolling at their sides and placed onto their laps
Beatrice: Guys . . . Please tell our son's why your here - raising her voice a bit to get us guys attention
We looked at the three guys
? I'm Sargent (Sgt) Philips . . . Sgt Thompson, Sgt Damson and myself are military puppy walker trainers and mentors.  We meet with ma'am's once or twice a week to discuss puppy issues
Sgt Damson: Today the puppies required vet checks
Frank: O-our mama's are puppy walkers - questioning
Sgt Thompson: Correct, for the Military
Kirk: How long
Sgt Philips: Ma'am's graduated four months ago and became active eight day's ago - us guys looked at our mama's
Harriet (Harr): Yes . . . The puppies are the 'New someone's we have met
Us guys looked at Sgt's Philips, Thompson and Damson and apologised for jumping to conclusions, they head bowed

For ten minutes our mama's spoke with Sgt's Philips, Thompson and Damson
For ten minutes us guys stayed put . . . Eyes fixed on the sleeping puppies stretched over our mama's laps

After Sgt's Philips, Thompson and Damson had showen themselves out, Ang and us guys moved and knelt before our mama's and petted Anchor, Harriot's pup, Charlie, our ma's pup and Boots, Beatrice's pup.  We were told they were almost six months old, would be trained as medical K9's and would be squiggles size, we were smitten

Our mama's asked us guys to set the table with tea and pastries while they take the pups to bed, agreeing, us guys moved to the powder room to wash our hands, smiles on our faces

When our mama's and Ang returned, the table was set and we all sat.  Us guys poured cups of tea and relaxed.  Our mama's explained they were becoming bored and spoke with Corrina, Anita, Daphne, Crystal and Tiffany for ideas to keep themselves occupied.  They are military puppy walkers and suggested our mama's speak with George, simply because the programmes are only available too military families

George provided our mama's with information along with confirmation of knowing our mama's and recommendations for our mama's to be included in the programmes being our mama's are retired, French was their native tongue and they live close to an Army base.  Darren, David, Teddy (Ted), Jason (Jay), Rosetta (Rose), Linda, Shaun, Kristopher (Kris), Sapphire (Sapp) and Kaitlyn (Kat) also provided written confirmations and recommendations on our mama's behalf's
