**LAURENT POV:**
February 13th, Angela (Ang), Brittany (Britt), Frank, Kirk, Larry (Lar) and I were strolling through the mall, making our way to the centre where a stage is set, to meet with us guys Managers, Belinda, Rachael and Alfonso
Two and a half weeks earlier, Stuart called us to brag about the military accepting Belinda and Rachael's proposal of a sing-off, at the mall between State Karaoke Champions Smoothie, Belinda and Rachael against Sapphire (Sapp) and Kaitlyn (Kat). Should Belinda and Rachael win, all charges against them will be dropped and they would be granted a thirty minute interview with our girls. Belinda and Rachael accepted two military counterclaims. Should our girls win, Belinda, Rachael, Stuart and Simon would have to attend an eight week boot camp
Belinda and Rachael had to wait for a call from the military about the arranged sing-off . . . They got the call twenty four hours ago . . . Stuart called us . . . Pissed off . . . He couldn't hold interviews to promote Belinda and Rachael within the short time frame
Meeting our Manager's, Alfonso, Belinda and Rachael close to the stage, Belinda and Rachael were looking at us with fake smiles Larissa: Sapp and Kat are on the other side - gesturing behind us We looked back above the crowd and saw Darren, David (Dave), Teddy (Ted), Jason (Jay), Rosetta, Linda, Shaun and Kristopher (Kris), Aroha and Amour on Darren and David's shoulders, Thomas (Tom) and Eric on Ted and Jay's shoulders Belinda: Can't see Sapp and Kat anywhere Rach: Could be they didn't show - both snarky, we looked at them Us: Don't bother calling us out to dance . . . We're not here for you - Bluntly looking at them Belinda and Rachael deadpanned, Stuart and Simon's eye's widened. Lar and I turned on our heels and made our way through the crowd to where Darren, David and them were, followed by Ang, Britt, Frank, Kirk, Larissa and Alfonso
To our surprise, George, Kenneth(Ken) and our girls were sitting on a bench surrounded by the dogs. We all greeted with hugs, us kissing our girls and looking them from head to toe, they looked cute (see sample pic)

Male voice: Ladies and Gentlemen . . . The time has arrived . . . Challengers, please make your way to the stage - announcing The crowd cheered and clapped
We watched our girls vanish into the crowd, cheering loud when they ascended the step's and continued to the m'cee. He tossed a coin, allowing it to land on the floor. The m'cee, Belinda and Rachael looked at our girls, they gestured Belinda and Rachael, turned on there heels, strolled to the steps and descended
Belinda and Rachael were handed microphones (mic) and moved about before stopping in the centre and raised their mic's, the crowd quietened Rach: We were suppose to have Les Twins perform Belinda: Being they date our challengers . . . We won't - both announcing The crowd hummed We were about to say something but didn't when we felt our girls arms wrap around our waists, instead we smiled wide
Almost a minute later the beat dropped to "Knowing me, Knowing you" by ABBA. With huffs, we turned in our girls arms, walked them back to back and held onto each other. We leant forward planting butterfly kisses atop our girls heads. Hearing our girls quietly singing the lyrics, we rested our cheeks atop their heads and gently swayed
We came too and looked about dazed when the crowd cheered but not dazed enough to step back, lift our girls chins and lean over to kiss them
Reluctantly we released our girls when there names were called. Again we watched them disappear and reappear. With our girls approaching Belinda and Rachael, they raised the mic's and announced "Ourbad . . . We performed your song choice", dropped the mic's and strutted off the stage, the crowd laughed
Sapp and Kat simply continued to the m'cee. In passing the mic's, they tapped the mic's with their prosthetics into the air and catching them without breaking stride. All of us and a few others cheered
The crowd settled when the m'cee appeared with two mic stands, placing them side by side near the edge and raised his mic M'cee: Welcome onto this stage, sing-off challengers, Sapphire and Kaitlyn - announcing Our girls moved to the stands, placed the mic's and raised them above their heads. They stood with hands behind their backs, waiting for the beat to drop
When the subtle beat to "Love you more" by Céline Dion dropped, eyebrows raise, eye's rolled, smirks appeared on faces in the crowd. When our girls sang, the reaction was instant . . . Jaw's dropped, eye's bugged out, mouths covered, hands placed on chests
Progressing through, the crowd reacted with cheers to the subtle, power and harmony changes this song has, roaring before the song had ended with our girls power house vocals echoing throughout the mall
With the song ending, our girls simply stepped back and bowed. Aroha and Amour were bouncing on Darren and David's shoulders. Darren and David moved through the crowd to the stage, plucked Aroha and Amour from their shoulders, placing them onto the stage. Aroha and Amour quickly moved to our girls and were scooped up into a 'Mama's embrace. Us and the crowd "Awww"d when Aroha and Amour kissed Sapp and Kat's cheek's
The m'cee cautiously made his way to Sapp and Kat, motioning with his hands for the crowd too settle. When the crowd somewhat did, the m'cee apologised for not recognising who our girls were. Our girls simply shrugged, we glanced at each other. He then called Belinda and Rachael to the stage
Belinda and Rachael stormed on stage, stopping by the m'cee and glared at our girls M'cee: Time to vote . . . Those in favour of first time State Champion's . . . Smoothie - announcing The crowd cheered and clapped, loud. Flicking off our girls, Belinda and Rachael pranced about taking in the glory, returning to there spots as the crowd settled at there own accord M'cee: Those in favour of State Female Favourites . . . Jukebox - proudly announcing The crowd roared, echoing throughout the mall. Belinda and Rachael froze, resembling corpses
Over the crowd the m'cee announced our girls as the sing-off winners. Our girls bowed, handed the mic's to the m'cee and strolled off stage. The crowd parted as they moved our way. Entwining their fingers with ours, we all strolled toward the exit, us lifting our girls hands and planting butterfly kisses to the back of them. We almost tripped on fresh air when we realised we were holding our girls left hands . . . They had removed their rings
