Chapter 6 - Fake Smiles

You woke up today and automatically knew it was going to be a bad day. Yes, you made a new friend, but you had to pretend you were okay. You couldn't let people know how much Jisoo and Wonho had hurt you.

Today would be filled with fake smiles and fake laughs. You would tell everyone you were okay, even though you weren't. You were heartbroken. More so over Jisoo's betrayal than Wonho's. You almost expected it from Wonho, not from Jisoo.

You put on your uniform and looked at yourself and asked Am I not good enough? Is there something that I'm missing? Is that why he cheated on me twice? You cried a single tear but quickly wiped it away.

After you had eaten breakfast, you plugged in your ear buds and

You walked to school, and went straight to class. "Mr. Jeon?" He looked up a tad bit confused. "Yes, Ms. Kang?"

"I was umm.." Shit. "Hey, are you okay? Take a seat please." He seemed genuinely concerned. "I.. I don't want to sit next to Wonho anymore." And he said "Is there anyone that you'd like next to you?" He was being so sweet. "If it's okay, can Minhyuk sit next to me?" You asked sniffling.

"I'll make the change right now." He said smiling. He was being so nice. "Thank you. I'm sorry for crying infront of you." You said shyly, making him smile. "It's okay. Dont worry, I won't tell anyone." He winked. You thought you were dreaming, but you weren't. Those butterflies came back.

You said thank you again, and quickly went to your seat. Soon after students started coming in. Minhyuk walked in and smiled at you. "Hey!!" He's too cute. "Hey, guess what?" He looked confused. "You sit next to me now!" His face instantly lit up. "Really? That's awesome." He quickly took the empty seat next to you.

Then he walked in. "Hey fag, your in my seat." He said coldly. You guys tried to ignore him but he was persistent. "I'm talking to you!" He screamed. "No one cares you cheating homophobe. Go away." Minhyuk said, returning the cold tone.

He was going to punch him. You saw it coming, but you gathered all your courage and slapped him right across the face. "He's not a fag, if anyone has to leave it's you!"

Everyone was looking at the back now. Mr. Jeon quickly made his way to he back, grabbed Wonho by the arms and escorted him to the office. "Are you okay?" He looked worried. "Yea, I'm fine." You said sitting back down. About 10 minutes later the teacher came back, and class went on.

Soon class was over and the bell rang. Minhyuk walked you to your next class and gave you a hug. "Feel better okay?" "I will." You reassured him. Time seemed to pass by really fast. Because soon it was lunch.

You and Minhyuk sat at a lonely table. You guys ate your food and talked for a bit. When lunch was over you both went your sperate ways, to your classes. After school, you didn't want to go home, so you went to the rooftop to do some homework.

You were so lost in your homework, you didn't notice when two people walked up there as well. "I told you she'd be here." Someone said.

When you looked up, you saw Jisoo and Lisa. "Kang Y/N. Get up." Oh no. Hell no. "Why?" You were actually scared for your well being. "I said get up bitch!" You quickly stood up and were welcomed by a punch to the face.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" She slapped you hard. This time you punched her back. BIG MISTAKE. Lisa, who was standing guard of the door saw, and quickly ran over. Together they beat you mercilessly. They had you on the floor kicking you. At one point Jisoo stood you up by the hair, just to punch you again.
