Chapter 10 - People Like You Disgust Me

You quickly texted your mom, to let her know you were going out.

Y/N: Hey mom, I'm going out with our neighbor.

Mom: Okay just dont be out too late, and stay safe.

Y/N: Okay, I will. Thanks mom. And same to you. ❤

You slid your phone back in your pocket. "She said I could go." He smiled and grabbed his keys. "Let's go then." You guys ended up going to the mall for some ice cream. You walked around a bit, before going to the store.

"I'll just stay out here and wait." You said looking down. "Are you sure?" He asked, and when you nodded, he went inside. "Wait! What flavor?!" He asked running back out.

You giggled at his cuteness. "I like vanilla." He smiled and then went back inside. It had only been a few minutes, when you heard a voice that made your skin crawl.

"Hey, Y/N." Why now? WHY FUCKING NOW?! "Hey." You said quietly. She came up to you, and semi-slapped your cheek to get your attention.

"Look at me when I'm talking." She scowled. You looked back down. She slapped you again, but this time, hard enough to bust your lip open. You could taste the iron and salt in your mouth.

"Look at me!" She screamed. People slowly started to gather around you guys. "Don't you dare lay a finger on her, Jisoo." Some one growled.

She scoffed. "Says who-" She was about to say when she looked up and saw a tall muscular figure infront of her. "Says me." He hissed.

"Whatever." Was all she said before grabbing Wonho's hand. "Why the fuck is he here?" He sneered. She pulled him away. As she was getting out of the crowd, some one tripped her.

"People like you disgust me! If you weren't a minor of beat the crap out of you! Nasty ass bully!" Some one yelled at her as she fell. She quickly got up, and left in a hurry.

"Are you okay?" You started to cry, but he wiped your tears. "Thank you for saving me again Jungkook." He looked you in the eyes. "I'm here and from now on, I'm going do my best to protect you from those nasty kids."

You smiled. A very faint smile. "Come on, let's get you home."

The car ride was really silent. You ended up falling asleep. You didn't even notice when you arrived home.

Jungkook's POV

Jungkook picked you up bridal style and went to your apartment. He knocked three times and the door opened.

"Omo! What happened!?" She said looking all over her body. "Her lip!" She was about to cry. "May I go lay her down, so I can explain what happened, to you?" She nodded and led him to Y/N's room.

He carefully placed the sleeping girl down. Then they both went to the kitchen. "Would you like some water?" "Yes please." She sat down and gave him a cup of water.

"We had gone to the mall to get ice cream. When we got to the store, she insisted on standing outside to wait. So I went inside set on quickly buying the ice cream, so she wouldn't be alone for too long. I was in the middle of paying, when I heard people. A lot of people. I turned around to see some girl slap Y/N across the face really hard. I told the cashier to keep my money as I ran outside. The girl left with some guy. And Y/N was upset so I brought her home. It broke my heart to see such a nice and caring girl get treated so badly. I'm sorry I didn't protect her well."

Your mom grabbed his hand and said. "You did protect her. And I'm sorry, what was your name again?" He quickly stood up and bowed. "My name is Jungkook. Jeon Jungkook."

He hesitated a bit to say these next words but did anyways. "I'm Y/N's teacher." She didn't care one bit. She pulled him into a hug. "Thank you for taking care of my Y/N." He hugged her back. "It was nothing. A girl like her, deserves be protected, not hurt."

After the heart warming scene, Jungkook went home and your mom went to bed.

Y/N's POV

You heard everything. The whole conversation between Jungkook and your mom. He was so sweet. You had thought him out to be some young, arrogant teacher. He was the complete opposite. You went back to your room and slept peacefully.

The next morning you woke up to a good morning from Jungkook.

Jungkook - Good morning. I hope you're feeling better today.

Oh I am trust me.

Y/N😋❤ - Good morning to you too. And thank you, I am feeling a little better.

Y/N😋❤ - Oh! I have a question!

Jungkook - Ask away. 🙂

Y/N😋❤ - Would you mind coming on a walk with me? I'm a bit scared to go alone. And you're great company.

Jungkook - Of course! I'll be out in 10 minutes.😇😇

Y/N😋❤ - Thank you! I appreciate it!

You quickly changed into some black sweat pants, a black hoodie, and your black Vans. Lots of black.

You went to kitchen and left a note addressed to your mom, that read..

Hey mom, I went out for a quick walk. Don't worry, our neighbor came with me. I'll see you later.

You grabbed an apple, and headed outside. Wow, Jungkook was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black timbs along with a black beanie. "We're both wearing all back." You laughed.

"We look great!" He laughed as well. And then you guys left. You walked down to your favourite park. Instead of sitting down, you ran to the swings like a little kid.

Jungkook laughed at your child-like behavior, but soon followed suit. You guys swung on the swings for like 20 minutes.

"My legs are tired." You said getting off. You almost fell, but Jungkook quickly caught you. "Are you okay?" You smiled and nodded.

You guys walked around the park for a little while longer, and then decided to go home.

"Thank you for coming with me..." You thought for a minute. "Kookie! Can I call you Kookie?" He smiled at the cute nickname. "Yes, but only you." He said. "Thank you Kookie." You smiled and then walked in.

I'm happy I was finally able to get these chapters up. I'm really sorry I didn't update for 2 whole days. Please forgive me. I hope you enjoy both chapters.
