the audience went crazy as max and harvey wrapped up the show with the last song, one more day in love.
max and harvey exited the stage and went into the back stage area.

"i'll be back i need to go to the bathroom", harvey said walking away from max. as harvey left to go to the bathrooms max grabbed his phone and went to text bailey. he opened up baileys messages and smiled at them. he was typing up a reply and brought his finger over the send button when someone sang out his name, stopping him from sending a reply. he hoped it was bailey but he knew it wasn't. he looked up to see the girl he had a deep hatred for.

"harper the back stage passes aren't allowed up here yet" max said in a annoyed tone. harper put her hand on her hip.

"your mom let me back" she said with a smirk.

"well i would prefer you go back out because i don't wanna see you and i know harvey wouldn't ether"

"come on maxipoo, i want to be your friend again... or even more." she said walking closer to him. max rolled his eyes at her.

"look i don't like you anymore and i would highly appreciate if you leave because i am planning on asking out..."
as max was about to finish his sentence he was interrupted with a pair of lips meeting his. he froze up. so many thought ran through his mind all at once.

"hey max that was a killer show...."
said the girl he had fallen for walking in on there kiss. she stopped in mid sentence as her emotions changed. her mood changed from a 100-0 in less then a second. her best friend was right besides her in just as much shock as her. she turned around and began to run out.

max pushed harper off him and turned to bailey running towards her. but it was too late. bailey already ran off.

"what the hell max. i thought you were gonna ask bailey out but instead you're kissing your ex. that's a new low."
ashley snapped at him. he stood there with tears welding up in the corners of his eyes. ashley turned and headed towards the exit.

"by the way bailey had a huge crush on you and you just broke her heart."
ashley said and walked off to find bailey.

what have i done.
max thought to himself as he stood there. harper came up from behind him and wrapped her arms around him.

"GET. OFF. ME."
max yelled at her. she jumped back as her face grew pail.

"i just wanted to help you fell better-"
harper tried to say defending herself.

"YOU KNOW WHAT HARPER. I THINK YOU'VE DONE QUITE ENOUGH, I DONT WANT YOUR 'HELP' OR EVEN YOUR PRESENCE SO GET OUT!"
max said getting closer to her and yelling each word with anger built up inside of him. but nobody could blame him, he just broke the heart of the girl he loved most.

harper just stood there with a sly smirk starting to appear on her face. she realized max had no chance with bailey anymore. max had a few tears prickling from the corners of his eyes. he quickly blinked them back. he wanted so dearly to take out the pain on harper. his fist clenched up at the thoughts of it. but he knew he couldn't hit a girl. his hand relaxed as he backed away from harper.

just at that time harvey came back from the restrooms to see max and harper standing on ether ends of the room.

"no. no. no. no. I MISSED IT, DIDN'T IT?!"
harvey yelled as he face palmed himself. max and harper both turned to look at him with no emotions plastered on there faces.

"no harvey. i didn't ask her."
max said with sadness dripping from the ton of his voice.

"oh....."
harvey stood there with a confused expression.

"i'll tell you later... but for now i think you'll have to do this meet and greet alone. i don't feel to good"
max said acting like he was sick.

harvey, dumbfounded, though he was actually sick and watched as max passed both of them going into a separate room.

max closed the door behind him with lots of force. sending it into a loud slam. once the door closed he couldn't hold his stoned emotions back anymore. he fell onto his knees with nothing but remorse surrounding him. max was torn. he never felt the feelings he's had for bailey with anyone else. he finally found the perfect one for him and he now may never get the chance again.
